Enjoy the Northwest décor (Cowboys, Cabins, & Fishing) of this cozy home in the woods. Situated on over 1 acre near National Forest (Great access for Hiking, Mountain Biking, ATV's or Cross Country Skiing). Also just half a block to a small neighborhood park. HooDoo Ski Resort is just 20 minutes away.

Pellet Stove keeps the home warm in the winter and airconditioning cool in the summer. Master Bedroom and second bedroom have queen beds and TV's. The Sunroom has a day bed with a trundle and sleeps two more comfortably. A roll-away is available in the master closet to accommodate a 7th person. Living Room has TV with DVD/VCR Combo. Responsible pets may bring their owners! Additional Pet Fee of $25 per pet required. Dogs are welcome in the home, but we also have a 10 X 10 covered kennel in the backyard.

  • A group of four women rented this lovely home for four days. We went to attend the Sisters Quilt Show. The home was very well appointed and we wanted for nothing. We are going to rent the home again next year for entire week. When we left we did have some concerns about the cleaning. We sent a message to the rental agency and they responded quickly and were very glad that we let them know our concerns. The only thing that we did not like is that it does not have a dish washer. I prefer to sterilize my dishes.

    We did address the cleaning issues with our service to be sure they are meeting our high standards. We have made some positive improvements. Haven't yet figured out how to add a dishwasher... still trying to work that out...for now, have to wash by hand.

  • This is a lovely, peaceful home with very cute decor and nice touches like a tv in both bedrooms. Perfect for two couples. There are starting to be a few deferred maintenance items though - heavy wood blinds on all the windows are very hard to open to use the sliders; handle in the main shower needs repair, replace the hot flannel pillow cases. However, all in all, this was a great spot for quiet rest and relaxation. We might come again. Thanks.

  • Our stay in Sisters at the Cozy Home in the Woods was great. We have stayed in the area in the past but really enjoyed this house. It fit us nicely and the bikes were a big hit. We will stay here again. Rachel was easy to work with and welcoming.

  • It was a wonderful treat to be able to stay in your home. I especially appreciated the cowboy decor, the cleanliness and quiet. My father, Charles Boardman, was one of the founders of the Sisters' Rodeo and was Grand Marshal when he was in his 80's. So many things in your decor reminded me of the richness of his life in the Sisters area. Thank you.

  • We enjoyed our time at your place. We liked having a waher and dryer there. We were able to get the towels done and the sheets started before we left. We were surprised not to find a dishwasher. next time I will bring "paperstuff". Yes, we too went to town to buy pellets. The sunroom was great to play cards there.   • We were extremely happy with this vacation home. It was very clean, had nice furnishings, quiet,and plenty of room for everyone. It was like staying in someone's home not a motel or a rental. We had a great time and felt very comfortable in this home.

  • We had a great time in the cozy home in the Woods. It was clean and nicely decorated. Mostly it was comfortable and a nice place to relax after a long day of hiking or skiing. We appreciated your letting us bring our little dog, too. He had a great time there, inside and out, and walking the roads outside the home.

  • We had a lovely stay over Christmas 2005. It was a beautiful area, snow covered pine trees and beautiful mountains nearby... We all liked how conveniently located it was near Sisters, Black Butte and other local cross country areas. The home was lovely, warm and just the right size for 5 people and a few of our dogs. It made for the perfect white Christmas - something most of our family has never had before! The house was very well stocked with all the necessary pots/pans/kitchen stuff as well as extra blankets, pillows and whatnot. It made for a brief home away from home and we'd love to come back someday!
