Our historic, vacation home is decorated in a tropical way, reminiscent of the Flagler circa in which it was constructed. It has a private fenced backyard garden available to enjoy the cool evening breezes and outdoor barbecue, as well as a large front porch on which you can swing and talk the night away.

Close to everything with lots of activity... walk, bike, take a trolley, or a romantic horse and buggy. With only three blocks to Historic St. George Street shopping, new St. Augustine Visitor Center, the Marina, the Fort, and the Intercoastal Waterway, you will have numerous vacation memories.

This home is located in the oldest city in America with historic monuments, Old Catholic Mission, Spanish Fort, Ripley's, ghost tours and folk lore, five-star restaurants, several marinas, along with horse-drawn carriages and trolleys.

Our art and antique shops are many and available year-round. In the summer, you may enjoy outdoor music and art festivals in the park. At Christmas, you may experience the Night of Lights from downtown.

If you want to spend the day at the beach... or a day at World Golf Village, its only 15 minutes. If its adventure you want, you may drive your car onto the wide St. Augustine Beaches, visit Marineland, or play golf on several professional courses in the area, but do not forget the shopping and dining on Historic St. George Street (Three Blocks).

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to St. Augustine. The house is a great central location in the historic area, which allowed us to walk to most of the sites we wanted to see. We enjoyed dinners on the back deck and glasses of wine on the porch swing. It's a wonderful house.

  • we have rented several times from vrbo.this cottage had many more dishes and cooking items than most.we walked everywhere,except the beach,and found many reasonable priced resturants. we also found a large selection of resturants and bars with local music.as others have said the swing on the front porch was great!!

  • We loved staying at #4 Mulvey Cottage during our vacation in St. Augustine. The cottage was beautifully decorated inside and out with a well manicured lawn and great front porch for relaxing. Perfectly located and within walking distance to historical downtown. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt perfectly safe walking around at night. We plan to return this summer and enjoy the local beaches. Thank you so much for a great place to stay while on our vacation!!!

  • Mulvey Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay the week we were in St Augustine! The cottage was very comfortable and felt just like being at home. It is beautifully landscaped on the outside and decorated perfectly on the inside... Our stay really meant a lot to us since this was Jim's first time back after being born in St Augustine years ago. We totally enjoyed everything the city has to offer and loved walking from the cottage to almost everywhere we wanted to go.   • Wow, I was surprised. Did not know what to expect. Very safe short walk to everything. Big play ground for the kids, only a 100 yards away. The family had alot of fun. The yard was very nice and the back yard felt private. We spent most of the time on the front porch at night. It was pretty cool to see people walking late at nite with out really worring about your surroundings. We will be back. Thanks Alan. Tony
