Comfortable, great location and close to Waterfowl Museum

We stayed in this convenient location, while we were in Harkers Island for the Museum's Waterfowl Weekend. This home was well-equipped, clean, quiet, and beautifully close to the water. The owners were very hospitable - it was nice to have them close-by if needed. We were welcomed warmly, and very much enjoyed our stay. We will hope to revisit again (hopefully when we have a bit more time to relax and maybe take the ferry over to the lighthouse!). Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Til's Landing is great for anyone who wants to stay away from the crowds. Nicely decorated mobile home and friendly owners. The pier is a nice place to sit and watch the sound. Enjoyed the beach near the bridge and the good restaurants. Easy to take a ferry to Cape Lookout if you want to swim in the ocean. Very reasonable rates.

Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We spent several days at Til's Landing and really enjoyed our visit. It was easy to find, clean, and very quiet. We took our boat with us and there was plenty of room to park it. There is great marina close by, which was really nice as well. We will definitely use the Mason's rentals again on another visit. Also liked that it wasn't required we stay a whole week, not that we didn't want to, but just didn't have the time to do so this trip. It was also nice that we only had to take our clothes and food, everything else was provided, really cuts down on having to pack so much!! More than worth the rate!!!

Just spent a week at Til's Landing and found it to be all that and then some. The Mason's were very helpful and friendly and the property was exceptionally clean and neat. Central to all Harkers Island points of interest and Marina's. We brought our boat and the fishing was great. We visited one of the local boat builders on HI and the NC Aquarium on Emerald Isle. I would highly recommend Til's Landing and we hope to return later this summer when the flounder and king mackeral are running.

The Mason's vacation rental is wonderful. You have a great place to relax, fully furnished, quiet, you also have a great place to swim and look for shells. The island is beautiful and the Mason's are really nice. We had a great time on Harker's Island, we would greatly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a good place to spend some quality time alone or with your family. The area has alot of good places to eat, the Atlantic Beach was nice and we also took a boat over to Cape Lookout and saw some wild mustangs on the island. We would enjoy vacationing there again in the near future.

The mobile home was spotlessly clean and very well set up for our family of four. Located near a lot of fun things to do. We went to several beaches, hiking on the salt marsh trail, explored Beaufort and New Bern. The kids especially enjoyed the aquarium and beach in Atlantic Beach, and the boat ride out to Cape Lookout. The Masons were friendly and helpful.

my husband and I had to opportunity to spend the weekend at Mason's. we had a wonderful time in this very comfortable home. we cooked there because the Mason's have every convenience of home. Home was very clean and convenient to everything on the island. we are hoping to return in the summer!

9/16/07 - Just returned from a week vacationing on Harkers Island. Even though we had to share one day with Tropical Storm Gabrielle, it was a wonderful vacation. This rental is clean, well-furnished, and neat. The Masons are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for those seeking a canoeing vacation. If you exhaust Harkers Island, you can easily drive to other locations such as Cedar Island and Hammocks Beach ( Bear Island). For non-paddlers, Beaufort and Morehead City offer all of the usual beach area attractions.

We arrived for a mid-week mini vacation and had never before stayed on Harkers Island. Let me say that our lodging was very clean. The hosts were more than accomandating and so very hospitable. What a nice place to enjoy our first stay at Harkers Island! For sure we would come and visit again. For some old fashioned southern comfort and truly an superb value, we recommend the rental at Till's Landing. The Allen Family - Wake Forest, N.C.
