The Beach Cottage is your urban retreat in Port Moody, British Columbia offering a spectacular ocean view. The self-catering Beach Cottage is located on a private lot in a very quiet residential area, and has covered parking. The Beach Cottage is fully furnished with two bedrooms, and one bath with a tub/shower combo, and a full kitchen with all the amenities of home. The 'Blue Room' has a queen-size bed, and direct access to the deck through the glass sliding doors and ocean view. The 'Zen Room' has a double-size bed for two to share a quiet nights sleep. Sit and relax on one of our deck chairs, and take advantage of the ocean breeze. Grab a pair of the provided binoculars and watch the ships come in, or better yet, sit back, relax and watch our beautiful Westcoast sunsets!
The Beach Cottage has easy access to the Shoreline Trail where you can walk, jog, bike or rollerblade to Rocky Point Park. At Rocky Point Park enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, take advantage of the sea-kayak rentals or the boat launch facilities. The dock at Rocky Point is perfect to sit and enjoy some fresh fish and chips or a dish of creamy icecream. Old Orchard Beach is an easy 15 minute walk away along the Shoreline Trail. Bring your mountain bike and enjoy the famous biking trails in the Anmore area, or travel to North Vancouver. If you enjoy hiking then Buntzen Lake is not far away. The Westwood Plateau Golf course is just 15 minutes away by car for all your golfing needs. The Beach Cottage is centrally located to the Newport Village Shopping Centre, and Coquitlam Centre is a 10 minute car ride away. Downtown Vancouver is easily accessible by car, bus (the bus stop is steps away), or the Westcoast Express.
The Beach Cottage is also available for a long-term rental. Come by and visit!

I hesitate to say how much I enjoy spending time in this very clean little hideaway in case too many people realize how great it is and book all the times! The views alone up and down the Inlet make the deck a spectacular place to sit and enjoy.Recommended for: Age 55+.

This place is a hidden jewel. We stayed there for 6 weeks and are gong back in there for July/August. The cottage is spotless and the view is very relaxing. A nice little deck that is very relaxing with a great very of the water. Would recommend this place for any senior's wanting to experience Vancouver or a small family.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
