The Gate House is a historic French country home situated on an acre on the Pasatiempo Golf Club, five minutes from Santa Cruz beaches and the famed Boardwalk, and close to nearly two dozen wineries located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Pasatiempo is highly rated nationally. It is #55 by Golf Magazine's Top 100 in the U.S.; #14 by Zagat America's Top Golf Course Guide; and #1 Golf Digest Senior Edition. It is the perfect gathering place for family, friends or business associates. You can host in style - in the warm, yet elegant dining-living area, the brick patio or the fully equipped conference room that seats eight.

The house has three bedrooms. The master bedroom features a beautiful cathedral ceiling, sunken tub and steam shower; a sliding glass door opens to a private deck with a spa and secluded view of the 2nd fairway. Adjacent to the master is a nicely appointed office and conference room for your emails or work environment. All of the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, have king- or queen-size beds, Egyptian cotton sheets and down pillows and comforters, TVs, DVDs and stereo systems.

Activities while staying at The Gate House abound, from golf, shopping and dining to staying in and grilling on the patio or cooking in the gourmet kitchen to curling up with a good book in front of the dramatic fireplace or in the hammock.

And if that's not enough, the Gate House boasts a game room with pool table, Foosball and air hockey. Men's and women's clubs are available for guests who want to play golf but didn't bring their clubs (easy walk to driving range). The beautiful DeLaveaga Golf Course is just five minutes away.

    • My girlfriends and I had so much fun here! We played pool all night after BBQing out on the patio and drinking wine in the spa. =) The house is gorgeous and the beds are so comfortable! I did not want to leave the house because it was so much fun! But we did take the short drive down to the beach and some of the local wineries. This trip was one of my favorite vacations ever!

    • I stayed at the Gate House a couple of weeks ago with my family and we had a great time! The house was amazing. You can tell the owner put a lot of time an money professionally decorating this place. All three bedrooms were very spacious. The MB has a full office with computer. The kids loved the game room and our favorite hang out was the grand living room and patio area with outdoor heaters. We would definatley stay there again! On Sunday the guys played a round of golf at the famed Pasatiempo course while the girls got massages in Capitola! Ahhhh relaxing!
