"It's the Tops!" is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath beachfront vacation rental that comfortably sleeps 8 people. It is located directly on the pristine shores of the Gulf of Mexico. It is a 10 minute drive from Destin Harbor, the hub for charter fishing and water activities available in our area.
You will enjoy plenty of space in this spacious 6th floor penthouse. It is the west end unit providing more privacy, more windows for breathtaking views and increased interior light. The condo provides complimentary high speed internet so bring your laptop!
From the PRIVATE GULFRONT BALCONY you will delight in ubunobstructed views for miles of beautiful snow white beach, the incomparable artistry of beautiful sunsets, and the soothing sounds of the ocean caressing the shore.
The gulfside PATIO is a great place to soak in the sun or to lounge in the GAZEBO while watching the children play in the sparkling beach-side POOL. You will enjoy relaxing in the Master JACUZZI after a workout in the EXERCISE ROOM or a game of tennis on the resort TENNIS COURT.
You can choose cooking a gourmet meal in the large fully-equipped kitchen, grilling in the BBQ area on the grounds in a picnic-style setting or dining in one of the many nearby casual or fine restaurants.

AREA LOCATION, AMENITIES AND ATTRACTIONS
The resort is nestled half way between Pensacola and Panama City in the NW Florida
Panhandle on peaceful Okaloosa Island in Gulf Dunes Resort. The sugar white sands and
emerald green waters that stretch for nearly 25 miles have earned this area the rating
“Number One Beach in the South” by readers of Southern Living Magazine.
Okaloosa Island is the Gulf front section of Fort Walton Beach and is located just across Brooks Bridge from the main town. It is a water wonderland surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico, the Choctawhatchee Bay and Santa Rosa Sound. This barrier island's treasure is its miles of undisturbed soft, stunningly white sand, gentle sand dunes, sea oats, and the breathtaking colors of the water.
Among the leisure activities available to vacationers are shopping, sightseeing, swimming,
surfing, parasailing, Kayaking, jet skiing, deep sea/fresh water fishing, boating, water
skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and golfing (including miniature golf for the kids), cinema
and live theatre. The nearby Gulfarium, less than a mile away, is the oldest aquarium in the
country with dolphin and sea lion shows performed several times daily. The Fishing Pier and
Boardwalk are in walking distance where you will find several Gulf front restaurants, snack
bars and shops.
Just across the Brooks Bridge in town is the historic Indian Temple Mound and Museum, the Camp Walton Schoolhouse and the Children’s Science Museum . Next to the museum is Brook’s Landing where people enjoy leisure strolls through the park, lounging on the grass under the oaks, or sitting under the gazebo watching the boats cruising through the Santa Rosa Sound.
Ten minutes drive east is Destin Harbor with its many water sports, restaurants, shops, and charter fishing boats at HarborWalk Village.
Popular attractions in nearby Destin are Big Kahuna’s Water Park and The Track Family Recreation Center, Gator Beach where the kids can feed and even hold the alligators. Destin Commons Mall. Silver Sands Designer Factory Stores in Miramar Beach is just 30 minutes away where you can ‘shop till you drop’ at over 100 factory stores.
There are many stores and shops in the bustling seaside town of Fort Walton Beach and its adjoining town, Mary Esther. A 10 minute drive takes you to Santa Rosa Mall with its large retail stores such as Dillards, Sears, Penny’s, Belks, Old Navy, and many shops. Also nearby is T.J. Max, Sam's Club, WalMart Super Store, Kohl's Department Store, Ross's Shop for Less, Tuesday Morning and Bealls Outlet and more.

Awesome Vacation Condo! We stayed in this condo for our Spring Break. 2 adults, a 20, 17 & 16 yearr old - we had plenty of room and plenty of privacy for each of us. Loved being on the very top floor, and in an end unit as well! Two sliding doors, 1 in the master bedroom, 1 off the living room, open onto a great balcony that looks right onto the beach/ocean - all you can see is beach and ocean for what seems like miles. Beautifully furnished and maintained - absolutely immaculate! Elevators always worked well and access to the pools and beach is a snap. Kitchen has everything you need and having the washer/dryer in the unit means you can pack less! Private covered parking in a reserved spot ground floor - very nice. We would return in a heart-beat. Managers of the unit were very thorough with directions and all information we needed. They even stopped by to bring a new DVD player when 1 wasn't working properly. Great service!! :-)

Best Vacation Stay EVER!!!, September 3, 2009 This was the best vacation stay ever! My Husband with my 6 grandchildren, daughter and son-in-law had the most relaxing and fun filled vacation ever. My daughter was swimming with the dolphins right in front of our condo and several times during the 7 day vacation we saw dolphins directly in front of our balcony. The condo was exceptional clean, spacious and very well equipted. It was nicely located close to the local markets and restraurants. My grandson who is 5 years old fished from the pier to the left of the balcony and caught a dolphin on his hook and several mackeral. He now thinks he is the best fisherman ever! The pool was sparkling clean and we really enjoyed it at night. The toys, games and videos was a real plus for the children. We all enjoyed our stay and will be booking this Penthouse again! Thanks for a Super Vacation!
