Paradise found on the Fripp Canal at just steps to the popular BEACH access #17 near center island. This one has it all!!! Boaters and fishermen - enjoy your private dock in your own backyard... where you can catch dinner of flounder, sea trout, or red drum or get some tasty crabs! You will enjoy sitting on your swing on the upper deck at sunset. Beach walkers and sun-worshippers are only steps away from the beach access leading to miles of sun-drenched, uncrowded beach.
Also, this home is only 3 homes away from the Beach Club and center island activities of pools, fitness center, tennis, Sand Bar, and beach volley ball. The marina, the Cabana Club, and either of the 18-hole golf courses are nearby.
The home has 2 screen porches overlooking the canal one with swing & picnic table. Newer Maytag appliances, upgraded lighting, tray ceiling Great Room with fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen with an eat-in bar and 4 bar stools, a fantastic dock on a tidal canal, and ample parking.
2 Full-size Golf carts and three bicycles are included with the Rental. If you bring a trailered boat or personal watercraft, there is a new, FREE, great launching area called Russ’ Point - immediately on the north side of the Fripp Inlet Bridge (four minutes away). It has two concrete ramps and a new aluminum pier. Canoes and kayaks can also launch there or at several locations on the canal or off our dock. Or, you might want to launch at the Marina (for a small fee).
Enjoy three-and-a-half miles of pristine beach, wildlife sanctuaries, bike paths, nature walks, and two nature centers. Open to all Island guests is our brand new Davis Love Park with swings and the Captain John Fripp boat, plus basketball and volleyball courts with a picnic cabana. While you are on Fripp, you are sure to see deer, raccoons, alligators, osprey, herons, dolphins, etc. Take a walk on the beach & find shells & sanddollars.
Amenity Cards are available for any persons over 12 years of age at the cost of $50 each per week from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and $35 each per week all other times. These cards allow our guests to have the use of the island pools, island golf courses, island tennis, island restaurants, scooter & boat rentals, the gym work out facilities. We need to know at the time of your request for availability if you want these cards.
There is also a drive-under garage, a two-car turnaround parking area, plus a long driveway. The private dock is a great place to fish, crab, and unwind with a glass of wine but we are strict on our rule: no children under 12 allowed on the dock without grown-up supervision. The upper dock is fenced for your toddler's protection.
Activities onsite or nearby include swimming, boating, sailing, surfing, wind-surfing, shelling, hiking, beach volley ball, biking, golf and tennis (both with instruction classes), basketball, fishing, wildlife viewing, and nature centers, restaurants, museums, sight-seeing on the good ship "Fripper." For youths of 3-8 years old, there is a nature-based camp (Camp Fripp) and teen events for ages 12-17.
There are golf lessons called Wee Links for the junior golfer! Though tennis courts abound, Fripp is best know for year round GOLF. The recently renovated Ocean Point Golf Course has breathtaking views - with holes laid out along the Ocean and the Inlet. Ocean Creek Golf Course (the Davis Love III course) was just rated a 4.5 (great) by Golf Magazine. The Fripp Island Resort rentals include additional golf carts, bikes, mopeds, personal watercraft, sea kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, and fishing charters.
Just bring your toys, camera, clothes, and food. We supply bedding and linens, towels, a fully-equipped kitchen and a gas grill. Even laundry soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, some napkins, local-use phone & some spices. Even a pack-&-play or youth bed if needed. WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A GREAT TIME! Owners live here year round for immediate service if/when needed.
