This is 'OLD FLORIDA' - our 2 bedroom apartment features hardwood floors, high ceilings and was built in the 1920's. A beach house with 'shabby chic' furnishings - clean, bright and cheerful. lots of fun knick-knacks, colorful pictures. Our unit is approximately 1000 square feet. It has a full-size kitchen and a washer/ dryer. Much more privacy at our apartment than you can find in a motel.
Situated just 200 feet from Clearwater Beach, this vacation apartment has local phone service, linens, cable TV and DVD'S, games, books, PUZZLES, beach chairs,umbrellas.
Walk to area shopping and restaurants or use one of the bikes we keep in the backyard. Grab one of the beach chairs and head down the street to the beach for an afternoon of sun bathing or reading. We are only 200 FEET FROM THE BEACH. Leave your chair on the white, sugary sand and return to the unit for a bite to eat or a quick nap. North Clearwater Beach is PET FRIENDLY. Let your pet romp in the waves and shower him/her in our fenced backyard. Your dog will love the sunshine and water as much as you. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance that allow pets in their outdoor dining area. Share your french fries and walk back home. Everyone will be happy.
One bedroom has queen size bed and sofa bed. Other has king size bed. We have a roll-away bed, air mattress and living room comfy sofa.
Only 30 minutes from Tampa Airport and Busch Gardens and 90 minutes from Disney. Take a beach trolley to visit several beaches along the Gulf Coast or explore small deli's and shops. BBQ your favorite steaks right on the premises and take a leisurely sunset stroll. Rent weekly or monthly.

This property was GREAT, it was a shared building with a pizza place in front and a rental unit off the back which we werent sure about but rest assured it turned out perfect, you didnt even notice they were there. The location couldnt have been much better it is literally steps from the beach, a short walk and you have gone thru downtown and are at the Pier. We have my husband and myself, two 6 year old twins, a 16 and a 17 year old and 2 large dogs and this home was perfect for us (and affordable). There is honestly nothing but good things to say about it, we did NOT want to leave and have decided to make a tradition of going back to the same place that gave us such great memories. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay here, see you next year! (;Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We stumbled on Patsy's Place quite by accident. We were looking for a pet-friendly property. What a find. Our Bouvier "Dice" had never been to the beach before. Clean, hospitable property. Worth every penny. Convenient to the dunes and many restaurants. We will be certain to recommend Patsy's Place to all our pet owner friends. Thank you for a wonderful retreat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We are home, sadly. Today we are unpacking, doing laundry, and washing sea shells we brought home from your beautiful beach! The best part of Patsy's Place (aside from having space to spread out into after being a hotel-type setting for 4 nights) was that we were 110 (yes, we counted!) steps from the beach! The sight of our children seeing the ocean for the first time -- the feel of that soft, soft sand on our feet --- the sound of the waves -- collecting shells -- it was magicalDid you find this review helpful? This place is awesome. It features two large bedrooms and a real living room and a real dining room and a real kitchen. It is not a dinette with a microwave and a dorm fridge, not by a long shot. If you wanted to do all of your cooking here, it would be no problem at all, with plenty of dishes, pots & pans and silverware. We have a large dog & he was accomodateded nicely here. There is also a nice fenced in patio in the back where the dog can go unattended. The patio is shared with a neighbor, however, I never saw the neighbor the entire stay. About the furnishings.. The photos do not do this place justice. It is very "beachy" and you will just love it. If you get rained in, there are at least a dozen DVD's; probably 20 or so VHS tapes and 10-15 intriguing board games for grownups. There are three TV's, all work ok, but are small. They have cable and local phone service. For the amount of space, things to do in the area, overall comfort, this was by far the most economical vacation I ever took. I considered this place my second home when I was in Clearwater Beach. My only complaint is that the laundry was out of commission when I was there. Knowing Patsy and Patty, I'm sure this problem will soon be resolved.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: THe cottage is clean and uniquely decorated. We've had tenants say, 'this is such a happy PLACE!' We have used bright colors, 'cool' knic-knacks, flashy area rugs, and pictures to make the place 'different'. My sister Pat supervises every cleaning. SHe is constantly re-arranging, replacing and painting. We are 2 sisters from Michigan who love the warm weather of Clearwater but also love the Michigan summers.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We are in a residential area so you are not jammed in between noisy motels. You can park right outside the front door which is so handy. You can leave your beach chairs at the beach and come back and forth to the house. We have a full size kitchen, washer and dryer. We allow pets . A few restaurants within walking distance allow dogs to sit outside with you while dining. The Jolley Trolley will take you up and down the beaches and you can explore restaurants, shops. The Clearwater Marina is one mile away and there is much to see and do there for kids of all ages. Clearwater Beach affords activities for all ages. IF you want to walk the beach or soak in the sunshine that is easy to do at our place. WE have many repeat customers year after year. Come see why!! If you vacation with your pet -- only north Clearwater Beach allows pets on the beach.
