Ozark country charm welcomes you to this comfortably furnished, smoke-free home located just off State Line Rd. near the Arkansas/Missouri border.
This wonderful home is set back off the street on a semi-secluded, wooded acre of land within the HOLIDAY ISLAND RESORT. Enjoy morning coffee on the long (furnished) COUNTRY PORCH and lazy evenings gazing at the stars, enjoying the privacy of the large (12 x 32ft.) furnished backyard CEDAR DECK in the 4-PERSON HOT TUB!!!
Deck has a view of the woods and WILD DEER COME TO THE YARD EACH DAY to graze! Deer Haven is located off the nearest road (Stateline Rd.) so one can jog around the quiet neighborhood loop and take photos of birds, flora, and fauna. Local wildlife include Bald Eagles, fox, deer, possum, and roadrunners, among others! From Deer Haven, take a leisurely NATURE WALK trail through the woods to the river-water's edge. Climb local limestone rocks! Fish for TROUT and Bass! Marina is 10 minutes away; ask for directions to Trout COLD WATER location accessible by boat only!! Great for a summer day picnic on the water--rent a pontoon for summer fun!!!
All FIVE seasons are BEAUTIFUL! Spring blossoms, summer greenery, Indian summer, autumn colors to amaze you, and winter white with frost and an occasional snow! A photographer's delight!!
FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET IN THE HOME. All rooms have ceiling fans, Cable TV (some TV's with audio/video jacks).
KING MASTER SUITE w/large private bath and French doors to private HOT TUB on the back deck, home located on private acre of land. SECOND BEDROOM has a QUEEN BED and THIRD BEDROOM has QUEEN BED. Roomy closets. The SECOND FULL BATH is in the hallway. Children under 12 stay FREE. Cribs available at Rental Management Office.
Fully supplied COUNTRY KITCHEN has a 4x4 foot island/bar, and TV. Adjoining DINING ROOM has a SITTING AREA with French doors to furnished back-yard deck and hot tub. Kitchen supplied with china, pottery, plastic patioware, plenty of flatware, utencils, electric appliances, etc. Cooking utincils for outdoor propane grill.
The LIVING ROOM has a sofa, loveseat, glider, 32 inch TV, DVD, and VCR/audio/visual jacks. Lots of windows face West, glass doors face wooded backyard.
Provided are two padded cots and card table/four chairs. Cribs and play yards available at Rental Office.
ONE CAR GARAGE, paved driveway w/extra car/boat parking beside the driveway. Large natural yard, great for kids play. Small pets welcome; refundable deposit required.
Minutes to Resort grocery, Italian Pizzaria, other cafe/eateries; bank, gas station. Also nearby is THE BACK PORCH RESTAURANT, HOLIDAY ISLAND RECREATION CENTER, and HOLIDAY ISLAND MARINA that has free boat launching and rentals available.

My husband and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary here and it was GREAT! We wanted to be off by ourself but not to far out so we could enjoy peace and quiet. All throughout the day deer would come eat corn that my husband poured out on the ground. It was very peaceful and so relaxing that we are wanting to take the whole family back to visit. I hope that I can spend every anniversary at Deer Haven! It was so clean and easy to find. The people where you checked in were very nice and helpful. The house itself was beautiful!! I would love to be able to live there!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
