You'll enjoy your stay in our beautiful Mexican home. The comfort, convenience and charm of this home is in keeping with the artistic feel of San Miguel. Our fully-furnished casa is located on Santo Domingo Calle, a hillside site above the center of the city, a quiet location, yet an easy walk to the very best of San Miguel. We are in the Centro area, just four blocks from the jardin, in a safe and secure area.
Our home is open and airy, with magnificent views of San Miguel and its exuberant sunsets. It offers modern comfort and conveniences combined with old world charm - custom hand-made furnishings, tiles and decor. This home is comfortable for a family or three couples. There is plenty of room for each person to find a quiet reading area.
The large, central living area features beautifully handcrafted mesquite furniture and a gas fireplace. The wide windows give generous light and bright vistas.
The dinning area will seat eight around a large hand carved Mexican dining table.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of cupboard space. Appliances include gas range and oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, rice cooker, complete silverware service, dishes, and all cooking utensils. A cozy, colorful breakfast nook is tucked into the bay window.
A 5 gallon bottle of water is provided and you can have more delivered to the home weekly.
The laundry room is conveniently located with a washer, dryer, and extra toilet.
Three bedrooms provide spacious accommodations and privacy, each with its own large closet. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom with a deep-soaking tub and shower, surrounded by colorful tiled walls. Each is beautifully decorated with a hand carved headboard and dresser.
For those who love outdoor living, our spacious private roof terrace offers magnificent views of the city and surrounding hills. It is a perfect spot to relax in the evenings with your margarita and enjoy the sunsets. Patio furniture is provided for outside dining. There is a large palapa for shade.
A maid comes every Wednesday afternoon to do the floors and bathroom. If you wish more service, she is available at an additional cost of only $5 per hour. Wonderful neighbors are nearby who speak English and are full-time residents. Passes are provided for the swimming pool and gym.
We have a secure off street parking area for your vehicle. Gates are locked at night. The condo building houses three seperate living quarters - there are two on the first floor and ours is the entire upper floor. The roof patio can only be accessed from inside the condo, so is for your use only.

The historical Instituto Allende and School of Bellas Artes, both offer classes in art, language, photography and ceramics. Warren Hardy's Spanish Language School is top grade. The library has 25, 000 volumes in English. Inexpensive taxi service and first class buses are easily available for exploring the nearby countryside, or for taking a day trip to La Gruta Hot Springs, or the famed pottery workshops of Dolores Hidalgo
