Little Squam Lake. Cozy, rustic cottage with lovely lake views, screened porch; beach, dock. Unique Portuguese Cork flooring. Large living room with fireplace. Town water/sewer. Marina is only a five minute walk where you can rent a boat by the week and bring it to the dock at the property. Small beach on property. Available by the week in the summer and Fall or by the season in the winter. Property has been in the family for over 60 years.
Located in the geographical center of New Hampshire, close to all the vacation activities one could ask for: Science Center, NH Music Festival, arts/crafts, antiquing, arcades, hiking, sightseeing, summer theater/outdoor concerts, boating, fishing. Just an hour and a half drive from Boston and an hour drive from Manchester, NH airport.
Weeks go from Saturday to Saturday.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Weekly Rate .... $1350/week, plus $300 refundable deposit at end of rental, less
cleaning fee of $100 or less, all monies due prior to arrival with return of balan
deposit within one week of departure. Off season rate: 9/6 to 6/14: $950/week/dep
Winter rentals $900 a month, plus deposit and utilities.
$1350 from mid June thru Labor Day. Columbus Day weekend in October is a 3 nigt m
$300 a night for 4 persons, 2 night minimum; Will accept mastercard, visa and disc
Rental monies are nonrefundable unless the week can be re-rented. A processing fee
of $100 if cancelled and monies returned.

The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
One of my favorite things to do is to take my coffee down to the dock and gaze at the mirror-like calmness of the water, in hopes a loon will come by, and watch as the water skiers in the far distance of the lake create a magnificent plume of water behind them. Listen to the woodpeckers and kingfishers. Better yet, is to take my grandchildren out in the boat for an impromtu breakfast in our pajamas. Go into Big Squam and watch the bald eagles feed their babies, keeping tabs on them as they mature and finally fledge. Climb Rattlesnake and Morgan Mtns. Go to church on Chocurua Island. Teach my grandchildren how to swim and waterski.

My husband and I spent a week at this very peaceful cottage. It is on shared property but found the owners to be friendly and helpful. They were not at all intrusive. The cottage is very rustic and compliments the simplicity of the area. We loved waking up with a beautiful view of the lake, having coffee on the porch and spending the day on the boat in an absolutely beautiful lake. I would highly recomend this well maintained, relaxing cottage. We plan to return next year.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We spent 2 weeks with great weather at this rustic lakeside cabin. The porch offers you a beautiful place to read, knit, or just enjoy the scenery of Little Sqaum Lake. Swimming was lots of fun, too. The owner added to the vacation by her kindness and helpfulness. We visited the Kellerhaus, Annalee, Hart's Turkey Farm(great clam chowder) and the quaint little town of Wolfeborough. We have every intention of returning next year.
