This traditional West Shore cabin is nestled in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood just a short walk from the Tahoe Pines sandy beach and private pier on Lake Tahoe. There is so much to do around here - you don't have to leave the area to enjoy your vacation. Take a leisurely walk up through Blackwood Canyon or hike up to Eagle Rock for a panoramic view of the Tahoe basin - both trails start right in the Tahoe Pines neighborhood. Bringing a boat? There is ample room for your boat trailer right on the property and Obexers boat launch & gas station are only about one mile away. You can pull right up to the Tahoe Pines private pier for group pick-ups / drop-offs.
The cabin has a beautiful knotty pine interior with all the comforts of home and comfortably sleeps eight. Once you pass through the tiled entry, you will see the living area with a stone fireplace and double glass doors that open onto the large deck. There is a full kitchen with all amenities and dining area that seats eight. Also downstairs, you will find a bedroom with twin beds, full bathroom, convenient back-door out to a large woodsy yard off and a mud/laundry room equipped with full washer and dryer, and extra large water heater. Upstairs you will find a large loft bedroom with queen-size bed and large closet, a second bathroom, and another bedroom with two sets of bunkbeds.
The house is set back from the street. The large front and back yards provide plenty of play area for little ones. Enjoy a friendly game of badminton in the backyard. There is a large deck on the front side that runs the full length of the house. It is perfect for grilling, outdoor dining, or relaxing with a good book under the tall pine trees, while keeping an eye on the kids at play in the yard below.
Need to get some work done? No problem - the cabin is equipped with wireless high speed internet and domestic long distance is free!
Have a well behaved four-legged family member? They are welcome in our home with a small (refundable) security deposit.

We so enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin, relaxing and very comfortable! Everything was as described and very well maintained. It was a perfect location for us, close to all activities we enjoy, the dog beach, hiking, Meeks Bay and fun restaurants although we mostly barbequed on the spacious deck under the trees. The owners were so great to deal with, friendly and helpful as this was a last minute family trip and they quickly responded to accommondate our schedule. Thank you for a wonderful time, and for being a pet friendly cabin, we hope to return and would highly recommend it to others! Thanks!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Your cabin is an absolute delight. Our family has been enjoying Lake Tahoe for many, many years and this cabin makes it feel just like home. It is conveniently located near the lake (just a short walk down the road), as well as Meeks Bay (one of our favorite beaches). We have 3 small kids plus a dog, and the house is perfect for us. Your house was a delight to stay in, well cared for and bright. We enjoyed Happy Hour on the large deck in a quiet neighborhood. Location and parking were excellent. It is close enough but just enough removed from Tahoe City to enjoy. The private beach and pier are assets for vacationers like us. Thank you for sharing your house--we hope to return and have already recommended it to a couple of other families.
