This traditional West Shore cabin is nestled in a quiet family oriented neighborhood just a short walk from the Tahoe Pines sandy beach and private pier on Lake Tahoe. Trails up through Blackwood Canyon or up to to the top of Eagle Rock start right in the Tahoe Pines neighborhood. Bringing a boat? There is room for your boat trailer right on the property and Obexers boat lauch and gas station are only abut a mile away.
The cabin has a beautiful knotty pine interior with all the comforts of home and comfortably sleeps eight. Once you pass through the tiled front entry there is a family/living room with stone fireplace, downstairs bedroom with twin beds, full bathroom, full kitchen, dining area that seats eight, convenient back-door out to a large woodsy yard off and a mud/laundry room equipped with full washer and dryer. Upstairs you will find a large loft with queen-size bed and large closet, a second bathroom, and a great kids room with two sets of bunkbeds. There is an extra-large water heater and new furnace. Need to get some work done? No problem - cabin is equipped with wireless high speed internet and domestic long distance is free!

Enjoy hanging out at the beach. Bring or rent a kayak, kids enjoy jumping off the pier into the lake.
Base of the trail up to Eagle Rock. Take the easy trail or the harder trail. Once at the top, enjoy the amazing view of the Lake and Basin below.
Obexers boat launch, boat gasoline station and grocery store are right up the road in Homewood.

We so enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin, relaxing and very comfortable! Everything was as described and very well maintained. It was a perfect location for us, close to all activities we enjoy, the dog beach, hiking, Meeks Bay and fun restaurants although we mostly barbequed on the spacious deck under the trees. The owners were so great to deal with, friendly and helpful as this was a last minute family trip and they quickly responded to accommondate our schedule. Thank you for a wonderful time, and for being a pet friendly cabin, we hope to return and would highly recommend it to others! Thanks!

Your cabin is an absolute delight. Our family has been enjoying Lake Tahoe for many, many years and this cabin makes it feel just like home. It is conveniently located near the lake (just a short walk down the road), as well as Meeks Bay (one of our favorite beaches). We have 3 small kids plus a dog, and the house is perfect for us. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us ... we will definitely be back!

Your house was a delight to stay in, well cared for and bright. We enjoyed Happy Hour on the large deck in a quiet neighborhood. Location and parking were excellent. It is close enough but just enough removed from Tahoe City to enjoy. The private beach and pier are assets for vacationers like us. Thank you for sharing your house--we hope to return and have already recommended it to a couple of other families. Its location next to Homewood ski area and close to Alpine Meadows makes it attractive for our winter activities.
