Easy Winter Access, No Handicap Facilities but this cabin has very easy access with a level parking area and only two steps up to the front door, plus a downstairs king bedroom, NO PETS, NON-SMOKING.

Why the Owner Chose Pagosa SpringsOne of us is from Colorado and vacationed in Pagosa Springs as a child with her parents and found this lovely log home which is named Alpine Haven.
The Unique Benefits at this CabinThe beauty of the forest, your own private hot tub and amazing starry nights, the forest sounds and abundant wildlife, spectacular skiing at nearby Wolf Creek ski area, soaking in the delightful hot springs all over the area.
One of our other homes is one block away from Alpine Haven, Serendipity sleeps up to 11 guests and also allows pets with permission.
Our 3rd vacation home, Acorn Cottage, is one street below Alpine Haven and sleeps up to 5, plus has a private hot tub.

Lovely cabin in a quite neighborhood. Very clean and well appointed. We were also very pleased to find a well stocked kitchen as far as utensils, pots, pans etc. We'll be back and will recommend to others.
Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Our group consisted of 2 families or 9 people between the ages of 4 and 50. The accommodations were comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Pam was responsive to our questions and requests. The location was perfect about halfway between town and the Wolf Creek Ski area. Having stayed in many vacation rental homes, I would definitely stay at Alpine Haven again and recommend it to anyone.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful area and it felt like home, only better. We went hiking, toured Mesa Verde and rode the train from Durango to Silverton and back. We hate to leave but look forward to coming back next year. Thanks for Everything! Tony and Becky

Oh my gosh this cabin is sooo cool! I love the hot tub. I'm having my 10th birthday here. It's the perfect place. I can't believe you guys have a cabin that was maybe owned by Elizabeth Taylor! I learned how to parallel turn at Wolf Creek. Thanks for having the baby Sitters Club series movies. Cool cabin!

Had a wonderful time. Went snowmobiling, hot air balooning (Jennifer @ Wind Wranglers was great), took lots of pictures, drove to Creede (the view along the way is a perfect 10). Jan 24-27 My husband and I have been coming to Wolf Creek for years and we always have a great powder day on our birthdays. Even though the last time we visited was 4 years ago, our luck hasn't changed. I love the San Juans and their annual 300 inches of snow fall.
