Ocean Spray is an oceanfront single family 8/7 house with a 11 x 24 x 4.5 ft oceanfront private fiberglass pool on a 60 foot wide lot on 837 S Waccamaw Drive Garden City, South Carolina with two oceanfront covered porches, one marshfront covered porch, and a private elevated sundeck walkway with built-in benches to the beach. The Garden City pier is a 10 minute walk NE, 0.8 mile.
There are eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, five up and three down. Upstairs are two kings, 2 queens, two doubles, and one single/double bunk with a queen. Down are 3 queens. There are over 3200 heated square feet, 2 outside showers-1 private with hot water, a sundeck, two oceanfront master bedrooms with king beds, new 8th bedroom wth TV/DVD player, table and 3 chairs, and two new Trane central air-conditioning units in May 2011. Pool heating up to 85 deg is an extra $300+tax/week.

Just got back from the most relaxing week of my life at Ocean Spray. Between the views and weather the house is incredible. Very spacious and beautiful, would never even know that your in a house with twenty other people. Between the ocean views, sun rises, sunsets, and the design of the town and community Ocean Spray is a great place to get away. The whole community is more then friendly and helpful to anyone who asks. The owners were more then helpful and highly suggested areas around the house that we could have a great time, in that we did! Whether your looking for a relaxing weekend or a house to stay at for a week of a golfing adventure, I highly recommend and would stay at Ocean Spray again.Owner response: Thank you very much. Wonderful home that accommodated our extended family with no problems. Owners very available to answer questions and take care of small problems that arose!! It was great to be right on the beach. The bedrooms were very comfy and the house was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very gracious to accommodate our vacation dates. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family just concluded a wonderful vacation in this house. We consisted of 11 adults and 7 children and had room to spare. The house is beautiful and is located in a great spot. We had 5 vehicles and still had plenty of room for parking and maneuvering. The heated pool was wonderful and allowed us to swim several days that we would not have been able to otherwise. My whole family is still talking about what a great house this was for our vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The house was clean and well-maintained. We parked 4 cars under the house. We loved the new furniture in the family room. The 8 bedrooms accomodated our large party of 8 couples. The surf fishing was great. Michelle answered our questions. We plan to return year after year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The listing was accurate. The house is cleaner and better maintained than every beach house my family has ever rented. The wide white beach is a few steps away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Spray. This was our 7th year here. The rent was very fair for such a large oceanfront house. The listing description is accurate regarding the location. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner and Michelle were very helpful in answering our questions.
