This cabin is a great start to a wonderful adventure. With the perfect little kitchen and cozy bed, we woke up well rested and able to make a nice breakfast to start the day right! It feels like a home away from home...and of course the view...it's awesome!

It's our first day here and we are already in love with this cabin and it's awesome surroundings. It's going to be a great week. Well, the week went by fast and your cabin was perfect to come back to after all our Yellowstone adventures - which were great! The beds were geat - the views and sunsets were gorgeous and we all enjoyed seeing our three deer who came to visit. We also had a black cat (Nija) and a black lab (Ben) who came by to say hi a few times! my son wants to come back soon - so I am sure that a winter trip is coming sooner than later. Thank You!!! We loved it all!

The cabin was everything we had hoped for. "The Quiet" All the views of the mountain tops turning brilliant pink across the back of the house. Deer - dusk and dawn - we even watched as they bedded down in the yard. It was so good not to use bug spray! We loved the light wind, and how close the town was. Lots of great hiking trails! It's a great Mountain Cabin, close to the Park. We loved it!

We enjoyed 6 nights at the Yellowstone Cabin and thoroughly loved the peacefullness and the views of the mountains. Our days were spent in Yellowstone and our mornings and evenings at the cabin...taking in the sunrise and watching the moon come up. Also enjoyed a couple of visits from your kitty. Thanks for sharing this quaint cabin with us.

We have enjoyed our stay in your cute, quirky little cabin! The views are terrific and the quiet was just what we needed. It was fun watching the blue birds working with their nest just over the east sunroom window. Yellowstone was wonderful. Saw lots of bison and elk. Also, a couple bald eagles, and osprey nest at Lower Falls, as well as deer ant antelope. We also saw 3 grizzlies, but no moose.

What a great place to spend the last days of our honeymoon! We had fun playing horseshoes, the proximity to Yellowstone was perfect, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the light that came into the cabin and seeing wildlife from the cabin.

Ahhh...what a cozy little cabin! We loved returning here after days spent exploring the nearby towns. It provided us with the perfect environment for holding up when the weathre became a little too nasty. We spent hours getting lost in books about grizzlies and mountain lions; but all we had to do was lift our noses out of the book to see and abundance of wildlife roaming just outside your beautiful windows. We watched a family of deer graze right in the front yard and then they stopped to watch us...of wildlife!! Thanks for creating this magical space where we can escape our wild city lives to view the REAL WILDLIFE!!! It was the coziest and most comfortable!! Sad to say goodbye!! Jessica Yes, this cabin was a dream come true! Cozy, relaxing and loaded with charm. I would love to come back and stay for longer it's so peaceful here, and being able to get lost in a book with this amazing view - was all wonderful. Thank you for such a beautiful place to snuggle into!! Ocean

Time stands still although the hours pass by. Who knows what day it is--who cares? This little cabin has refreshed our spirits just as we had hoped it would. Fall permeates the air now as winds howl through the valley and brilliant yellows dot the landscape; adding a lively color to the landscape: peace, solitude, blue, yellow, greens, woodsmoke on the breezes. These are the memories that again re-affirm for us that Montana is "the Last Best Place!" Steve & Honor Ellija, GA PS: The Beartooth Highway between Cook City and Red Lodge, MT was stunning and scary.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us. We had a fire outside and I was exclaiming about how perfect it all was, at that exact moment, my boyfriend took my hand and put something in my palm. It was a ring! He popped the question and of course I said yes! The beauty of this valley and the cabin just overwhelmed us. This will forever be a special place for us and we will definitely be back here. Susan, You always take a chance renting a vacation home sight-unseen, but I had a feeling about your Yellowstone Country Cabin and we were not disappointed. It had everything we needed, but the views and solitude made it even better. The peaceful settting made our life in the city seem so far away. After days of sightseeing in Yellowstone, it was and easy drive back here and then we could just chill! We had daily visits from a doe & her twins--got a kick out of one that got into something and sneezed for 10 minutes! Saw birds we don't see at home and black velvet skies sprinkled with stars. Thanks again for sharing this cozy place. Bob & Jan West Chicago, IL

Susan, Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. We will miss the gorgeous views and peacefull setting. Even though the weather was tempramental we were still able to fit in 35 miles of trails, a half day horseback ride with Bear Paw Outfitters, and lots of sightseeing. We even drove in snowy conditions between Tower and Canyon in the Park on Wednesday. We will definitely miss the cool temps. when we return to 90s-100s of Kansas. Thanks again for helping us escape the daily grind, we hope to return some day soon. Best Wishes, Shane & Julie Lindsborg, KS

What a pleasure to live for a few days surrounded by fragrant sage-brush. We hiked the petrified forest loop in the back valley, entered some wonderful Yellowstone meadows, and clambered through rapids, crabwise against the sunset. From your deck we saw an eagle fledging young/fleeing angry osprey (no binoculars handy) and numerous critters. The mountains are beautiful even when weather moves in. Ben & Susannah Brooklyn, NY

This cabin was the perfect spot to recharge during our first ever - family road trip! My 8 year old son, my husband and I have been on the road since the 19th of June and we loved relaxing, cooking out, and exploring this beautiful area! We've been to the Lamar V alley & Mammoth so far; and we've already seen elk, a brown bear, lots of bison, a coyote, ground squirles and pronghorn. Now were looking for moose! Our next stop is Roosevelt Lodge, then we're off to Old Faithful Lodge, but we will miss this peaceful cabin! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us! Bryan, Kelly & Logan, Brandenton, FL

Dear Susan, Thank you for all of your hospitality. My husband Daniek said he would be happy if we could take your wonderful cabin everywhere we go. The peace and quiet here would be difficult to find elsewhere--this was a much needed retreat. We enjoyed the firepit, the horseshoes, the petrified forest, the view from the cabin, sandwiches on our day-trips (courtesy of your cooler), and the little bird family nesting on the cabin. You are so thoughtful with the amenities you provide. Everything to remain perfectly comfortable - the ability to feel "at home" without all of the stressfull things - and the ability to disconnect. I leave in the morning, tomorrow and am trying to figure out how I can stay 2 more nights. I came here to do some thinking and to figure out my direction; eventhough, Susan, when we went into the Park yesterday, you spoke the wistom I was seeking and It helped tremendously. I won't go into the Park again until summer because of the starving animals we saw...the drowing baby Bison was heart wrenching. Had it been a National Geographic show I would have turned it off. Other then that I a leaving here again with much appreciation and a full heart and clearer head. We love you Susan, Karl and the kids this place and the amazing energy it gives off. Thank you. Susan, Thank you for letting us share your perfect cabin! It was better than we could have imagined, everyday was a struggle to just to get out of bed and leave the cabin to go explore Yellowstone. The cabin was stocked with everything we could have needed, you really thought of everything! Thanks for the late night propane run, by the way. As we were packing the car to leave, I stood on the deck and found myself sad to be leaving. Zack waked up to me and must have felt the same because he said, "hard to leave it behind isn't it?" We are already planning a trip back to this place, and hope to stay in your cabin again. Thanks again, Zack & Ajor Fargo, ND

Susan, thank you for a lovely and very peaceful stay in your funky and rustic cabin with its fantastic mountain views. The cabin's interior reminded me of a place we lived in, and adored, in Vermont many years ago, so it was a bit of a nastalgia trip! Your hug was so very welcome after a long day of traveling, as was the goody basket which is a very thoughtful touch. The cabin is very well stocked and organized and both beds are very comfy! Ad we appreciated all the info. re: cabin, the area, the park, etc. Yellowstone is truly the jewel in the crown of America's Parks and is great to see in winter with the snow and lack of crowds. We saw all the animals; grizzlies, black bears and moose. Stephen spent every afternoon hiking in the park. We highly recommend going to Cooke City as the scenery is outstanding and the town is really neat. (Eat lunch at Buns N Beds and meet Nala the Husky and Whistler the Beagle.) We also ate at Chico and the food was superb! Thank you again - you have been a real pleasue to deal with! KIA ORA! Julie and Stephen New Zealand

We have had a wonderful vacation! It's so peaceful here, we are so glad we chose to stay here vs. a hotel in town. It was nice to come "home" and relax by the fire after busy days at the park. On our first morning 4 mule deer came up the driveway and grazed in the yard! The view from the loft is amazing! We had clear nights - it felt like we could have reached out to touch the stars. We were lucky enough to see elk, deer, bison, mountain sheep, grizzly & black bear as well as several bald eagles. The first day at Yellowstone we were gone 12 1/2 hours, so we really appreciated the comfy beds & Quiet! This little cabin had everything we needed - Thank You for letting us experience what you get to enjoy daily. We will share our 500+ pictures with everyone back home & highly recommend your cabin.
