My wife and I just finished a three-week stay while we were working in the area. Our stay could not have been better. The cottage is small but ideal for a couple or couple with one or two small children. Everything about it was in first-class condition (like new for most items). The owners insisted on replacing the old, somewhat rusty, outdoor gas grill (that worked fine for us) with a new top-of-the-line model during our first week there. The east-facing deck overlooking the lake made for delightful breakfast experiences almost every morning. The location is excellent: short drive to Cheboygan for basic shopping, short drive to Mackinaw City for touristic shopping, short drive to Bay View-Petosky for cultural opportunities. My wife (this was her first lake cottage experience) says we must return next year for vacation time.

We had another wonderful week at the cottage. This cottage is so cozy and comfortable, you feel instantly right at home – tranquility at it’s best! The view of Burt Lake is stunning, especially the sunrises!! Wasn’t our first visit, and definitely wont be our last!!!
