A beautiful home in a beautiful setting for a tranquil holiday in the South of France. Listed with VRBO since 2005. Situated in a small hamlet within sight of Lavardens Chateau and surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Gers - the most rural area in France. Only two hours from the surfing beaches of the West coast and two hours from the stunning Pyrenees Mountains.
The house is spacious - each room over five meters by five meters and restored with tradition and tranquility in mind. The property also has beautifully restored gite on sight which could accommodate a further six people if required.
The local cuisine specialities are duck, foie gras, and armagnac alongside all the local wines. Every day there is a market in one of the local towns where you can sample and buy the local produce, absorb the atmosphere and have an aperitif.
