This very pleasant apartment is perfect for those looking for a comfortable base on Lake Como which is only 5 kms. away from Bellagio and Lake Como. Located in the heart of Limonta, a typical Italian village, just 5 kms from Bellagio and overlooking the Lecco Branch of Lake Como; you have the advantage of being in the heart of Italian life yet enjoying the comfort of a modern apartment which has picture postcard lake views from each and every angle.

Within a stone’s throw you have the village centre with the Parish Church, local bar and restaurant. The public boat landing is just an 8 minute walk from the property and from there you can take the boat to many different towns and villages that line the lake.

Within 30 minutes drive of the property you can enjoy the towns and villages of Bellagio, Lezzeno, Nesso, Onno, Vassena, Magreglio, Civenna and Lecco to mention a few. For those who want to head further a field, within a 90 minutes drive you have the cities of Como, Milan and Bergamo considered by many to be three of the most important cities in Northern Italy.

So whether you are looking for a base where you can relax and enjoy being part of the village, or explore further a field this is a great choice. For those who enjoy walking in the hills, there are some great hikes which start from the centre of Limonta.

Technical Description
Ground Floor: Kitchen/dining area which is light and airy and leads out to the lake view terrace where you have table and chairs to relax and enjoy afternoon tea or an early evening cocktail watching the sun go down. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, Italian coffee machine, American coffee machine and many cooking utensils to keep the most expert of cooks happy.
At the far end of the kitchen you have a canopy for relaxing and resting while enjoying the TV and DVD player. From the kitchen/dining area you can access the bedroom which has an ensuite bathroom with tub and handheld shower. The bedroom has a queen size bed and is pleasant, light and airy with plenty of wardrobe space.
First Floor: The first floor is accessed from a spiral staircase which has a total of 15 steps. On the first floor you can enjoy a large double bedroom with sloping wooden ceilings that has its own lake view terrace (standing area on terrace) and ensuite bathroom with shower tub and studio area. The bathroom is also where you will find a washing machine and drying machine for use during your stay here at the Casa Dora. (iron and ironing board are also provided).

Not Included: Heating which is paid locally on consumption.
