Why the Owner Chose Marsh Winds
I chose Folly Beach because of it's laid back nature. It really feels relaxed and almost as if you've stepped back in time. It's a way of life that feels stress free and wonderful.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Besides having a great location to spend time with friends or family, I have a very favorite place to eat on the island and that is the Lost Dog Cafe. They serve wonderful breakfasts and lunches. It's a place where you're pooch is just as welcome as you are.

Title is misleading. This wasn't a luxurious condominium.

The sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. The springs were felt through the mattress. Please do not think you will be able to sleep on it! The king mattress was also old and had a "dip" in it. The carpet in all rooms was heavily stained. Didn't want to walk on it barefoot.Owner needs to update. The porch was extremely HOT! You will not be able to enjoy the view because of the heat. We were only able to use it very early in the morning and late at night. You will not feel a breeze. Owner needs to update the bedding for a comfortable stay.
Owner response:I'm sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience. Sleeper sofa's are often uncomfortable as it is difficult to find one with a very good mattress. The occupancy of my unit is 6 people and the bedding configuration is mentioned in the listing. Most people use the sleeper sofa for children who are not usually bothered with it. The King bed is actually newer and I wish you would have called or emailed me in regard to the problem with the mattress sagging, because there is an easy fix for this and I would have had the handyman come out to take care of it. As for the carpeting, I appologize if it was stained. You are renting in the middle of high season. It was cleaned at the end of May, but with the unit being booked every week between June to August, there is no way to get in and clean it between rentals. It will be cleaned in August and will be back to normal. As for the porch, South Carolina is very hot in the summer, the porch has a ceiling fan, but hot is hot and there isn't anything I can do to remedy that.

This was a nice roomy place to stay during our visit to Folly Beach. The extra bedrooms came in handy when the grandkids visited. The location is great - close enough to the beach but not so close to deal with beach traffic and noise. Much nicer than staying in a hotel room!
Owner response:Thanks for your input. Keep me in mind for your next Folly Beach vacation.

Peaceful setting with great views. A good base to stay in for visiting Charleston, Folly Beach and other nearby points of interest. The condo has a home-like atmosphere and was comfortable to come back to for resting. Perfect for our family. We plan to stay here again!
