  The owner is so great to work with, she is extremely helpful in many ways and made us feel right at home. this house is very comfortable and was perfect for our stay with some of our family. Very, very clean, the pool, the yard...all of it. We LOVED staying here. we were there for 2 weeks and there wasn't anything about the house we didn't like. We highly recommend this house to anyone.

  My wife and I spent the last three weeks of our six week vacation here and this rental was definitely the best. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Great kitchen to cook in and excellent beds. We enjoyed the neighborhood and neighbors. Only a block away from Keauhou Bay with its tour boats, swimming and snorkeling. The owners were more than helpful in getting us settled. The solar, heated swimming pool was an added bonus. We've VRBO'ed many times and this will be a repeater.

  This comfortable home moves to the top of our "favorites" list. Great location and neighborhood, walking distance to water, shopping, Sheraton Farmer's Market. The excellent pool and the deck with varied seating worked great. Ceiling fans kept the air moving throughout the house. Kitchen easy to use with enough cooking implements. Loved the collection of beach towels. Adult boogie boards would have been nice to go with the kid-sized ones, but they were nice to have.

  This is our first stay here and we loved it. The house is beautiful and lacking nothing, there are bikes, beach gear and fishing gear in the garage, a nice bar-b-que. Everything was in working order. Having the pool was such fun too. The ceiling fans and the location of the house provided such good flow through breezes, even without AC we enver missed it. We love the Keauhou area, it is so quiet. Kristine was very helpful and always available if needed. We will be back this is like home away from home.

  I stayed here for a week having never been to Hawaii before. The owner Kristine was very helpful, before and after my arrival. There was a bicycle left for me to use if I wanted to explore. The house was very nice and clean (a big deal to me...). The Keauhou Shopping Center was a short walk (about 7-8 min.) away - there is a supermarket, some nice restaurants and a little cafe, Peaberry and Galette, which was cool. You can also get the open air trolley outside the Long's drugstore in the shopping center - Kristine was kind enough to provide a schedule. It will take you to any number of marketplaces and restaurants along Ali'i Drive. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and the pool was a treat. My only complaint was that the weather wasn't all that great when I was there but that's certainly not the owner's fault!! I would definitely stay here again.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children.

  Being first time on the island of Hawaii, wasn't sure where to stay, but this was a wonderful location. The house is beautify appointed, clean, well carred for and the pool was outstanding. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet location. Because of the volcano, not many sandy beaches on the island, but the house is a short walk to a nice bay and a marina . The listing is 'right on' and the owner terrific.

  'Just returned from a wonderful holiday at this property! As shown in photos, property is clean, comfortable and is very central for a family holiday. 'Loved the decor and all is in good repair. The pool was wonderful when the beaches got crowded. Keauhou Shopping Centre is nearby for groceries and restaurants (Drysdale's makes a great burger), golf course is close. 'Loved to see the little geckos and the Hawai'an flora is fabulous. Try the Big Island Grill for an inexpensive but excellent family meal (go early or expect to wait). Try the little shops at Kealakakula for a half-day outing or head north for a variety of Big Island landscapes. 'Really enjoyed an evening of hula & music at the nearby Sheraton Keauhou. FYI: Tsunami instructions are in the phonebook and the highway south heads UP!!!! Note to owner: Please make SHARP knives, rubber spatula and more serving bowls/utensils available. Thanks for a terrific holiday!

  We just spent 2 weeks at this property. It was great. Unit is beautifully decorated. Very spacious. Very clean. Wi-fi included. Pool is a real pool. Heated too! I would highly recommend this property.

  My husband and I stayed here in March 2010 for 9 nights and loved it! Great location, quiet neigborhood and great for golfers since the Kona Country club is at your back door pretty much! The private pool is fantastic and like bath water. The only two minor drawbacks are; home could use a full glass ware set (to allow for entertaining) and a better compliment of cookware ie: cookie sheet/pizza pan etc. Over all, we had a wonderful time and would stay here again!
