  The good: The complex is right on the beach, close to Coligny Plaza (which includes good restaurants, shops, ice cream, grocery, etc). It has 2 pools, and in September there were never more than 3 or 4 people at either one of them, and the place is clean and well-kept. The owners were kind and understanding and this place was such a good price and value that we were able to stay an extra night and stay on budget. The bed was comfy and we all slept well here, and the condo was stocked with the basic things we needed. We rented bicycles and biked everywhere--I highly recommend riding out to LowCountry Backyard Restaurant! The bad: The little A/C unit in the window struggled to keep the place cool and only the deadbolt actually locked the doors. While you should find everything you would need, you're given precisely ONE of everything that you might need...ONE garbage bag, one dishwasher tab, one towel per occupant, one tiny bar of soap. We stayed for five nights and had to go to the grocery for a lot of things that have come standard in other condos we've stayed in. The "view" on the webpage is probably with a zoom lens while leaning over the railing. The ugly: the condo has a dreary feeling. Everything from the linens to the dresser to the dishes to the toilet bowl seat are stained, dented, and banged up. The shower rod is hanging to the wall by a thread for dear life. The air vents are filthy. The comforter on the bunk beds are so stained that I wouldn't let my kid sleep under it. A broken cabinet door is held together with a bicycle lock rather than a handle. All in all, though, this place is a good value, and if you're not looking for "luxury" but rather a decent and basic place to sleep, this will fit the bill.

  I have been to HHI many times over the years on vacation, and find that Seaside Villas is a wonderful spot on the island to stay. It is has a nice beach, is close to Coligny Plaza and many other amenities, and is in a great location on the island. This villa is very nicely furnished, and is clean and up to date. The owner was very easy to work with and helpful in all our arrangements. The pictures are a true representation of what the villa looks like, and the view from the balcony is true to the picture except that the picture must have been taken with a zoom or telephoto lens, because it appears closer to the beach than the villa is, but the view is still great and true. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great stay!

  My family and I were very happy staying in this Villa. Great view of the beach, walking distance to Coligny Plaza, and included everything that we needed for a perfect vacation. The owners were great to work with and I would be happy to stay here again!! I highly recommend this Villa!!

  I stayed at this condo for a week May 2011 and I have to say it was beautiful! Very modern decor and the owners were so helpful. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Just a short walk to the beach and very family friendly. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

  This Villa was well located, minutes away from the exquisite beach. The Villa is well kept, well outfitted and has a sophisticated decor, a very comfortable atmosphere. There is a water view from the balconey. It is also a short walk to Coligney Circle where you can find any ammenity that you want. My husband and I had the Villa for two weeks and everything about it enhanced the enjoyment of our stay. The photos and description of the Villa was accurate. Regards Travelon

  My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the villa over a long weekend getaway. The villa was clean, well furnished and well maintained as was the overall condo development. The view of the beach was beautiful. The beach was only a short walk away (no streets to cross!) and the villa was conviently located in terms of dining and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year.

  While the posting promised a "clean & well maintained" villa and even mentioned "luxury", my husband and I found it not to be the case. The toilet ran constantly, the A/C was noisy and the vent was filthy, the view was primarily of the parking lot with a view of the ocean requiring a stetch over the balcony. The elevator was broken, neighbors were loud on the deck & in the hallway which was dim, furniture was worn. We left after one sleepless night.

  Owner response: Our mission is to ensure every renter has an amazing vacation while staying in our villa. The issues stated above with the toilet, A/C and elevator have all been addressed. We typically recieve compliment after compliment about the location and view from our villa. While the villa is on the side of the building similar to 90% of the villas in Sea Side, our villa is located toward the front of the building closest to the ocean giving our renters a great view.
