You are only footsteps from the waterfront and right next door to our marina; this vacation home is ideal for your overnight, weekend or weeklong get-away! With our beautiful home away from home atmosphere we offer something for anyone wanting to enjoy peace and tranquility. Yet still close to all the action.
If you would want to include a fishing trip or just a sight seeing cruise, we have a CHARTER BOAT and skipper at the marina to take care of your needs. All of our guests wishing to take advantage of a fishing charter or just a cruise will be given a DISCOUNT. Kids are welcome on both.
You will be just minutes away from Boating, Cedar Point, Fishing, Golf Courses, ferries to the Lake Erie Islands, Museums, numerous Restaurants, Off-Track Gaming, Shopping, Wineries, and MUCH MUCH MORE. Discover why the area is known as "VACATIONLAND."
Also, within an hour drive you can visit the many attractions in Sandusky, Vermilion, Huron, Bellevue, Norwalk (20 minutes to Norwalk Raceway Park), Milan, and Fremont. Cleveland is just two hours away and the attractions there include Metro parks Zoo, Cleveland Browns Football, Cleveland Indians Baseball, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and The Flats
Our privately owned, 1600 square foot, two-story home features three bedrooms, a master bedroom located on the main level with 2 CRAFTMATIC ADJUSTABLE beds that combine to create a king size bed or they can be pulled apart for 2 singles. On the second level the front bedroom has a queen size bed and a single bed. The rear upstairs bedroom has a double bed. If your party has more than 4 adults, there may be an additional fee of $50.00 extra per adult. Unless otherwise agreed upon. Call for more details on this.
Along with one bath, a kitchen, and a dining room there is a sunroom to enjoy your breakfast at with a view of the waterfront. A washer and dryer are also located in this area. As you go out the back there is a room for storage of any extra equipment you may have brought with you. As you exit the rear of the home there is a nice backyard with a picnic table and gas grill available for your enjoyment. A very short walk from the backyard is Sandusky’s East Bay where you can fish or just enjoy the scenery.
If your outing requires one more bed there is a sleeper sofa conveniently located in the spacious living room along with a second large sofa. A rollaway bed is also available. Please note that this home does come fully furnished. Bed linens, towels, dishes, pots/pans, microwave, a washer and dryer, central air conditioning and television with a CD player are all available to make your stay hassle-free and more enjoyable.
If you are interested in bringing along your boat or Jet Ski we would like to remind you that there are boat slips available at our Marina located right next door. Whether you are planning on some long overdue fishing or just simply relaxing on your boat will be your decision. There is a Bait and Tackle store located at the Marina that carries both bait and tackle as well as snacks and the appropriate license you will need if fishing should be your forte. We can also direct you to where the fish are.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Nightly: Sun thru Thu $125 Fri & Sat $140 Minimum 3 night stay.
Weekly ................... $675/wk .. $750/wk with dockage.
There is an additional $50 cleaning fee for all rentals.
Rentals require a 50% deposit within 7 days of making reservation with balance
paid in increments. If rental date is within 4 weeks of arrival date 100% is due.
Refunds will NOT be given within 28 days of arrival date. Personal checks, money
orders or credit cards accepted. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change.
Check-in time is 2pm & Check-out time is 10am.

Summer trip to Cedar Point!!! June 2011

Some of my friends and I decided we would goto Cedar point this summer for a week. I liked that it was close and spacious, and with friends you do kinda need that extra space. Set up was via phone, I had emailed a couple times with no response, I believe they said they were having issue. with the net but it was still very easy to set up via phone. Arrived and found that the outer siding had seen better days but as long as it didn't leak I didn't really care. Wasn't there for the estedics, wanted a roomy accommodation, close to the park and at a good price and this place fits the bill for sure. 3bedrooms and added roll away made for a roomy enough stay that there were no issues. Another bathroom would make it perfect, but even with 1 it worked well. The grill worked well, and any issues were handled quickly. The park is just a short couple minute drive and was great to goto almost daily. It was also nice to just relax and put together the puzzles they had there(we did both). Watch the movies we had brought, and chit chat without having to worry about driving home after. I would rent this property again in summer if I wanted to go back to the park, it really fits the needs of any sized group. Keep an eye out for a sister lodging, not sure when it will happen but was told they are looking to turn another of their properties into rental space so it could accommodate a REALLY large group when that happens. Beds set up, 2 bedrooms upstairs one with a queen and a twin in it as well as a small TV and the other has a full sized bed. Plenty of additional linens as well. Downstairs bedroom has 2 twin craftmatic adjustable beds(that can be made into a king or twins) which was really cool. There is also a twin roll away bed in the downstairs bedroom's closet. I can't recall if there was a sleeper or not because we didn't use it. If you don't have to have fancy, and want plenty of room and to be close to either fishing or Cedar point, this is hands down the best option. Again, I will be back. Thanks again guys for being wonderful hosts!!

We are on our third year vacationing at the house on 2306 River ave. We want every one to know we Love it and look forward to coming back to my home town and to River Ave. Where my roots are. Hello Gary & Beth, Words can't describe how "welcomed" we felt staying in your property. It was super clean,well-kept,fully-furnished,had a "homey" feeling and so close to everything. When you have a family the size of ours, you cannot help but worry about accomadations....This home was truly just that a HOME away from home!!! This is by far the most comfortable I have ever been at a vacation rental. The home is clean, well-furnished,has a great location, and has the feeling of being AT HOME. The owners AND the neighbors are very wonderful people....they truly go out of their way to make sure all of your needs are met and taken care of! The home is spacious and yet has a feeling of comfort. We are already looking forward to our next stay with you!!!! They say that home is where the heart is.....well, you certainly have captured my heart! Your hospitality & the charm of the home will be long-remembered and deeply missed until we return!
