I stayed here with a wheel chair bound individual and it worked perfect for our needs. I have to disagree with an earlier reviewer because as for my experience the house was clean and comfortable. It is an older home and everything is not brand new but it was nice, comfortable and I found it had what we needed. I tend to take a lot of my own stuff and that is what works for me. The owners were very nice about helping us with things that made it more comfortable for a disabled person. There are two bedrooms upstairs, a double bed in both and one has a single bed also. It is decorated cute. There is one bedroom on the main level with the adjustable beds in it. The living room is a nice size and there is a dining area off the kitchen and also a sun room which also has a very nice large washer and dryer. We did not go to Cedar Point but it is very close and of course this time of the year it was also very quiet. Shopping and groceries are less then three miles away. Over all for anyone spending time in that area, it is close to lots of stuff and it is a nice comfortable place to stay. A home away from home. I would like to thank the owners for their extra help.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

While it met our needs for size and location, the home was unclean and not very well maintained. Kitchen lacked basic necessities (cups, silverware, etc.) We won't stay here again.

Everything was great we had a super time, we love visiting with family , the property was clean and very nice, Thank you beth making our stay enjoyable

Our host were very kind and made us feel welcomed. Location was great for our needs. We were close to everything needed and wanted. House was cosy, clean, confortable and well maintained. Capt. Gary, Beth and Brandon did more than they had to ensuring we had a great vacation. Can't say enough good about them. The only downside was we could not stay longer!!! We will this year1 The charter also was excellent! THANK YOU!

Summer trip to Cedar Point!!! June 2011

Some of my friends and I decided we would goto Cedar point this summer for a week. I liked that it was close and spacious, and with friends you do kinda need that extra space. Set up was via phone, I had emailed a couple times with no response, I believe they said they were having issue. with the net but it was still very easy to set up via phone. Arrived and found that the outer siding had seen better days but as long as it didn't leak I didn't really care. Wasn't there for the estedics, wanted a roomy accommodation, close to the park and at a good price and this place fits the bill for sure. 3bedrooms and added roll away made for a roomy enough stay that there were no issues. Another bathroom would make it perfect, but even with 1 it worked well. The grill worked well, and any issues were handled quickly. The park is just a short couple minute drive and was great to goto almost daily. It was also nice to just relax and put together the puzzles they had there(we did both). Watch the movies we had brought, and chit chat without having to worry about driving home after. I would rent this property again in summer if I wanted to go back to the park, it really fits the needs of any sized group. Keep an eye out for a sister lodging, not sure when it will happen but was told they are looking to turn another of their properties into rental space so it could accommodate a REALLY large group when that happens. Beds set up, 2 bedrooms upstairs one with a queen and a twin in it as well as a small TV and the other has a full sized bed. Plenty of additional linens as well. Downstairs bedroom has 2 twin craftmatic adjustable beds(that can be made into a king or twins) which was really cool. There is also a twin roll away bed in the downstairs bedroom's closet. I can't recall if there was a sleeper or not because we didn't use it. If you don't have to have fancy, and want plenty of room and to be close to either fishing or Cedar point, this is hands down the best option. Again, I will be back. Thanks again guys for being wonderful hosts!!

Hello Gary and Beth, just want to say THANK YOU!! Our family had a GREAT TIME. The house was perfect for the 10 of us. The charter fishing trip with Gary was awesome. I can't wait to get the pictures that Gary took while out on the boat so I can hook a gang of guys together for a long weekend trip back to your place. I look forward to visting again. Take care.

We are on our third year vacationing at the house on 2306 River ave. We want every one to know we Love it and look forward to coming back to my home town and to River Ave. Where my roots are. Thank you Gary and Beth. Your vacation home is well kept and a great place to stay. We would not be afraid to reccomend it to any one for it is well kept clean and very comfortable . Hello Gary & Beth, Words can't describe how "welcomed" we felt staying in your property. It was super clean,well-kept,fully-furnished,had a "homey" feeling and so close to everything. Our kids "loved" it there and letting them go fishing whenever they wanted was such a hit!! Photos for our familiy scrapbook. We will spread the word- Fabulous Rental & Friendly People. When you have a family the size of ours, you cannot help but worry about accomadations....This home was truly just that a HOME away from home!!! This is by far the most comfortable I have ever been at a vacation rental. The home is clean, well-furnished,has a great location, and has the feeling of being AT HOME. The owners AND the neighbors are very wonderful people....they truly go out of their way to make sure all of your needs are met and taken care of! The home is spacious and yet has a feeling of comfort. We are already looking forward to our next stay with you!!!! They say that home is where the heart is.....well, you certainly have captured my heart! Your hospitality & the charm of the home will be long-remembered and deeply missed until we return! THANKS AGAIN Beth & Gary, we miss you already!!
