Fripp Island is located on the South East coast of South Carolina in the picturesque Lowcountry. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, it’s just a short drive to some of the country's most historic sites in Beaufort, Charleston, and Savannah.
Our condo is located right on the ocean and you can watch the dolphins play from our living room! Why stay on an island if you aren't going to have an ocean view? Many of Hollywood’s finest movies have been filmed here, including Forest Gump, Prince of Tides, The Big Chill, The Great Santini, and Jungle Book.
Named as one of the '100 Best Golf Resorts in North America' by Links Magazine, Fripp Island has two fantastic golf courses with classic layouts and distinct personalities. The clubhouse for the Ocean Point Golf Course is just steps away from our condo.
Our home is newly painted, we've also added beautiful ceramic tile floors, new appliances, and new furniture. In addition, we've added new (Summer 2012) flat screen TV's in the living room and bedroom along with a DVD/CD player for evening movies and popcorn. There is also a new mini-stereo to play your favorite ipod or iphone music.
Your villa features a large, comfortable living room and dining room area, fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast nook, a large bedroom, bathroom, patio, and parking garage. There is also a new queen-size, sleeper-sofa in the living room. The breakfast nook overlooks a beautifully landscaped courtyard featuring BBQ grills and tables surrounded by banana plants and hibiscus.
Camp Fripp is designed for children ages 3-12 years old, it offers a fun filled day with crafts, nature trips, beach trips, pool games, and much more. Fisherman can spend their time along the meandering tidal creeks catching abundant fish, shrimp, and blue crabs. For the shopper, there are numerous shops and boutiques on the island offering everything from casual wear and souvenirs to grocery items.
Guests have a choice of five different restaurants on the island (Hugos is located across the lane). There are numerous swimming pools on the island (one of them heated year round) that overlook the ocean.
There are eight soft and two hard surface tennis courts for your enjoyment as well as jogging, bike and roller blade trails, and scenic nature paths. You can also rent boats, jet skis, kayaks, golf carts, bikes, mopeds, or book a seat on one of the regularly scheduled excursion boats for dolphin watching, shelling, and exploring!

Gorgeous condo, great views, awesome location!! Condo is exactly as advertised and has everything you could possibly need for a great vacation!!! Owners were helpful and accommodating. The only thing that wasn't completely fabulous was that there was a charge for the use of the wireless Internet that wasn't listed on this page. But that was minor compared to the rest of the trip! Thank you!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The condo is in an excellent location for relaxing, with its ocean view, proximity to the pool, and location at the end of the island. Due to the tides, we did have to drive to the beach, but that was no problem. The condo was clean and nicely appointed -- plenty of beach towels and ample cooking supplies, and having the washer and dryer made life easier.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

this was our frist visit to fripp island but hope it is not our last it was a wonderful getaway the condo was perfect for us we enjoyed haveing our morning coffee on the patio and looking at the beauitful ocean views the landscape of new haven was also stunning the property was clean I would recommend this property to others.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great place we truly enjoyed our visit. Stayed October 14 - November 14, 2011 not complaints at all. Very relaxing vacation with a wonderful view of the ocean. Look forward to visiting again. The stay at this condo was part of one of the best vacations I've ever had! The condo was very nice, with an awesome view of the ocean. The island was very nice and quiet, and the condo was fairly close to several attractions and resturants. The Cabana Club was a really cool place for kids, and I highly recommend renting a moped to see the island. Everything in the condo was very neat, clean, and nicely decorated. For Peace, Fun & Relaxation, this is the place to be. This Beautiful Ocean Front Condo offers lots of Fun, Sun in the Sand & in the Ocean Waters! To sit & listen to the Waves is Awesome! We stayed at this condo in late April and had a wonderful vacation experience. Dolphins played outside our door (one morning 10 of them) and one evening 2 deer were between the condo and the ocean. We were there for R&R strictly so more than venturing out to eat at night, this was THE place for rest and relaxation. About the owner: We live in Cincinnati, OH although we would love to permanently relocate to Fripp some day. Christina is a school teacher and Chris works in logistics.
Why the Owner Chose New Haven Villas:
We were vacationing and looking for real estate on Hilton Head and somewhat stumbled upon Fripp. From the first moment we came on the island we fell in love with it. The relaxed pace and breathtaking scenery hooked us right away.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Love looking out of our condo and watch the changing of the tides or dolphins playing in the Ocean. I enjoy listening to music with my ipod connected to the mini-stereo. It's great to be able to walk 1 minute and be at the golf course and driving range, the swimming pool or the restaurant. The oversized soaking tub is very relaxing after a day of golf. I really enjoy grilling fresh seafood or a steak and then have dinner overlooking the Ocean.
