Flanders house description
Just vacationing or planning a family reunion? This beautiful 4000 sq.ft. single family home was built in 1926 for a state Senator. As you enter through the leaded glass entry there is a lovely staircase ahead with powder room to one side. Turn left into the large living room w/ fireplace, then walk through beveled glass french doors to the sunroom.
Turn right from the foyer and you are in the dining room. Off the dining room is a large beautifully crafted porch. Also, off the dining room is the complete beaded board kitchen, a sitting room with TV (perfect for reading a book) and a laundry room and full bath. There are a set of stairs from the kitchen that lead to what was once servant quarters where you will find a bedroom with private bath.
Now from the foyer up the stairs you find 4 bedrooms, one of which is the master that has a bath with a shower that is awesome. There is also a full bath off the hallway. Up now to the third floor, on the right is a bedroom with a Queen bed, a full bath off hallway and to the left what we like to call the dorm room where there are 6 single beds with TV and DVD player (perfect for the kids). All this only one block to the beach.
We only rent to families, No Groups.

House was in a very great location where the teens could walk straight to the action on the Boardwalk. We had plenty of space with four family's to find a quiet place to relax and read. The kids loved the dorm room style room with the 6 twin beds on the top floor. They had there game system to play and hung out up there at night after the boardwalk and had a great time. We did wish the bathroom on the second floor where most of the bedrooms were had a shower and not just a tub. Had fun, thanks

Best house we ever stayed at for our large extended family. House is close to beach ,boardwalk and downtown shopping. Plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of tables and chairs to eat dinner together. House is clean and well maintained. Kids and grandchildren also happy that house has WiFi. Will plan on staying again next year.

This house was more than we ever expected!! The minute you walk through the front door one can sense the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's roomy enough for all of us to have our own space and plenty of room to gather together, especially love the beautiful sunroom. The kids had a blast staying on the 3rd floor with 7 beds - they felt as if they were in their own little world! The house is very clean, has a well equipped kitchen and all the "little" things that make for an excellent shore stay. Great location with easy access for the beach, boards and shopping. We look forward to next year and creating many more memories in this house. I would highly recommend this rental and the owners were very helpful along this process.

Big house, but.
Big house, but.
House is big and clean. It is close to a very nice boardwalk. The room I slept in had no blinds on arched windows. I could not sleep past 5 a.m. Another room has a bunk bed with the worst mattress ever. Don't leave clean dishes (A 10:00 checkout) in the dish washer and look behind the garbage can for any splatters. You will be charged $50 dollars. ( Don't ask me how that works out.)

Owner response: Very rarely do we have a family leave the house so dirty.
Best Vacation Ever
Best Vacation Ever
My family and I have been vacationing together in Ocean City for about 16 years and this is the most beautiful house we've ever stayed in. The pictures are all accurate; it's very clean, comfortable and well maintained and we've never had such a perfectly well stocked kitchen - and - the beach is only a block away. This was our best vacation and we all agreed it was because of this wonderful house. We really hated to leave and are looking forward to more vacations there. The owners were very nice although we had no concerns. I would highly recommend this property (after I get my week).

We loved it.
We loved it.
This house was great, we loved it here, enough room for everyone. Quite, close to the beach and Asbury Ave for shopping, bike rentals and everything we had hoped for. Well stocked with kitchen supplies, very well kept. It is an older home, with all the charm of that great age,but has been upgraded to make it modern. Had a great time.
