  This was a great place for a Spring Break getaway with group of teenage girls. Close access to beach and near all main attractions. The property was quiet and kids able to explore. Loved the ocean view from the balcony! Everything was clean and whole process was easy. We really enjoyed it!

  My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was clean, well maintained, and met our needs well. There was some noise from the construction of the Marriott nearby but the building is almost finished so that will not be a factor for future renters. We enjoyed the balcony, the well-designed kitchen and bathrooms. The laundry facility in the complex was close as well. One drawback was the living room lighting but we were wanting more to be able to read, and do handwork. We are from out of country so we truly enjoyed the handy location, the wonderful walks on the Seawall, visiting the historic sites, and learning so much about the amazing history of Galveston Island! It was also very convenient to a grocery store, etc.. We would recommend the apartment to others.

  The property itself could use some maintenance. Rust was showing through the iron railing paint, and two of the three pools were not clean or available to swim in. The pool that WAS available was very clean and nice. The gazebo around this pool is very nice, too. I thought the balcony faced the front of the Gulf, but the balconies of this building are angled, and jut out from the side of the rooms, so that the balcony views are side views of the Gulf. And, NOW, there is a building being constructed right next door to this building, so there really isn't much of a view of the Gulf - even from the side. The unit itself was OK. The blender was useable, but it could use a new one. There weren't many glasses/plastic glasses to choose from. Some of the ones there should be replaced. There were only 2 hand towels, but there were a lot of bath towels, and they were all clean. The unit itself was "OK" clean. The mattresses and pillows are not top notch, but they are OK. In general, everything is OK. The owners were helpful. We ate at Gaido's Restaurant and it was good. We also walked on The Strand and ate there (Star Pharmacy) and we had a good time. Not sure if I would stay here again, but I don't have much to compare it to, since I don't stay in Galveston very often.

  Owner response: Thank you for your opinion of our complex/unit. It is a priority for us to provide clean, well-appointed accommodations for all of our guests. Some of the issues you mentioned are beyond our immediate control, but your input will be forwarded to our Home Owner’s Association as they are constantly addressing issues created by the Galveston climate/environment. As advertised, our condo is ocean view, not oceanfront. As mentioned in our communications, there is construction next door and while the new building next door will ultimately narrow our ocean view, a nice view of the gulf still exists from our balcony. The furnishings, mattresses, flooring and kitchen supplies were all replaced/updated in June of this year (2012) with quality pieces from upscale merchandisers including Star Furniture and West Elm. It is our hope that guests appreciate the thoughtful consideration that went into choosing these items. The blender, plastic cups and hand towel issues have already been addressed. We appreciate you taking the time to provide your opinion. As owners, we truly strive to be one of the nicer places to stay in Galveston and believe we succeed in doing so based on the many excellent reviews received to date.

  We just completed a week-long stay at Unit #323, and found it to be clean, comfortable, and a good location with near access to several public beaches and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider renting this unit again if in the area.

  If you're planning on staying in the Galveston area, you certainly won't go wrong by choosing this property! The pool complex is incredible and the grounds are meticulously maintained. Unbelievable place to spend the days relaxing. The kids loved it. And not far really from the downtown area and all the restaurants and sites. We stayed here last year the last two weeks of August with the kids and would recommend this place to anyone. Being on the ocean, the building was in need of some of repairs - the elevator for sure. But the complex was being refurbished as we stayed there. Unit #64101 was exactly as pictured. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners are top notch to deal with. Don't have any concerns if this is your first time booking a condo from a distance. As I said, our family was totally satisfied with our experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone.

  Great condo!! We stayed a week and loved every minute of it! The condo was beautiful, the pools were wonderful and the grounds were like a tropical paradise. I will recommend this condo to all of my friend that are visiting Galveston! Thanks for sharing your awesome condo with us! We will be back!

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation Policy • Cancellations made prior to 30 days of reserved dates will receive a full refund of rental fees, less credit card fees. • Cancellations made within 30 days of reserved dates will forfeit initial rental fees paid upon booking, unless property can be booked to another guests for the same time frame, however credit card processing fees will not be refunded. • Cancellations made within two weeks of reserved dates will not receive a refund. • Hurricane/ severe weather advisory evacuations and mandatory evacuations will be fully refunded rental fees on a per diem basis.
