Situated right on Cathead Bay (Lake Michigan) facing west, this beautiful family friendly beach house features four bedrooms and two baths. One bedroom and one bath are on the first floor for those not wishing to use stairs. The wide deck allows for unbelievable Lake Michigan sunset views over North Manitou, North Fox and South Fox Islands. This home is impeccably maintained.
The beach house is located near the tip of the beautiful Leelanau Peninsula. A nice walk to the Grand Traverse Lighthouse, and a short drive to unique shopping and dining in the villages of Leland, Suttons Bay, Omena, and Northport. Casino is about 30 minutes away. Traverse City is about a 45 minute drive.
A fantastic setting with state dunes land surrounding the homes on this beach. The dunes offer great hiking opportunities with unbelievable views from the top. Private 100 foot beach is pristine and sandy and great for swimming, perfect for kids. Ideal for hiking or biking, or just plain sitting and relaxing. Absolutely no smoking and no pets and please note that the guest limit in our home is 8, regardless of age.
