Great Visit!

Diane - We had a really lovely time at your home in Lewes last week. We loved the town (especially Agave, Half Full and the toy store with the train set!), and the Fishing Pier beach at Cape Henlopen was PERFECT for our two year old. The house had everything we needed and we loved being able to walk into town every night and go to the playgrounds on either end of Park Ave.

Nice accommodations

We needed something larger than a hotel room for a family of four for three nights while participating in a little league baseball tournament in Georgetown. This house fit our needs perfectly, and was not too long a drive back and forth to the ball park. Two bedrooms upstairs are spacious and comfortable. Two twin size sofa beds in the downstairs living room provide additional sleeping. Kitchen is large and stocked well with dishes, serving pieces, utensils and cookware. Also a table for four. Everything was clean and tidy. House has WiFi which was very much appreciated! The town of Lewes is quaint and quiet. With little time to explore, we did get some fishing time at Cape Henlopen State Park and an hour at the Sea Glass Art Festival in town. This house in Lewes is only a short drive to Rehobeth Beach where families can find more "action". We enjoyed the peaceful location of this home in a quiet neighborhood.

Owner response:Thanks Suzanne! Glad it worked out so well for you, Diane

We absolutely loved this little cottage. It was very clean and well equipped with kitchen supplies. The rocking chairs on the front porch were great for relaxing after our busy days. The master bedroom was nice and roomy. The cottage had plenty of games and books if you wanted to stay in and relax. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the restaurants and stores. It is on a very quiet street. We even discovered a pond at the end of the street with a paved walking path around it.We would highly recommend this lovely cottage and quaint town to a friend.

"We love your beach cottage! We walked to the shops and went to the beach every day. We played mini golf and went to the boardwalk in nearby Bethany. What a special Birthday for our three year old daughter. The neighborhood was so calm and quiet and the kitchen was much larger than we anticipated. It was the perfect beach retreat and we thank you. See you next year! The Totsias

We stayed here for three nights for the spring Dover race weekend and found it very comfortable. The house is a single home located on a quiet street not far from eateries, shops, and the canal. It was clean, roomy, and easy to get to. The town reminds me of a smaller version of Cape May. I would stay here again.

Just got back from a great week in Lewes. House was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the nice accomodations and loved being able to walk or take the kids into town for ice cream. Park and playground close by were great and having access to a pool provided a nice changeup when we weren't at the beach.
