Our family stayed here for a week recently and had a fantastic time. Kelly is an honest, thorough and responsive owner. His rental terms are renter friendly and made us feel very comfortable and assured about renting from him. The condo is well equipped, spacious and had everything our family needed for our entire stay. The kitchen has all the essentials for cooking. The views from the lanai are spectacular - we enjoyed spectacular sunsets everyday while enjoying a glass of wine after a day of fun in the sun. What more can we ask for?

This accommodation was sweet sweet sweet! We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Watching whales, spinner dolphins and even turtles while having a glass of wine from the lanaii was amazing as was the sunsets we saw almost every night. The accommodations were superb and comfortable as this site says. I can't recommend a better place and as we toured around the neighborhood you would say the same thing. Kauai's golf was awesome and take a tour around the island in a helicopter. I would definitely recommend Captain Andy's for a snorkel trip as that was a highlight for us. I have already recommended all our friends if they stay in Kauai to check out this place. Restaurants were fantastic and Kelly's recommendations were spot on! Calgary, AB May, 2011
Owner response:We are glad you enjoyed your trip to Kauai. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope you will return to enjoy another trip.

For anyone looking for a "true" oceanfront property, this is it! We were very fortunate to have been able to spend 3 weeks in this lovely condo. It is very private and all that you see from the 40 foot lanai is the beautiful blue ocean and quite often turtles, dolphins and whales . It is quiet and peaceful. We saw beautiful sunsets every evening as we ate our meals on the lanai. The condo is very spacious, well equipped and well maintained. While on a Holoholo Charter, we were lucky to see about 5 or 6 whales, more spinner dolphins, monk seals and manta rays plus the indescribable Napali Coast - an incredible boat tour. We would also recommend having a Puka Dog - a real different take on the traditional hot dog. Waimea Canyon is a must along with the North Shore. Kelly was great to deal with and very accommodating. He and Mimmi have done a great job in furnishing and decorating the condo. All in all, a great vacation.

This was our second 2-week stay at Kelly & Mimi's condo. You can't beat the location because you really can't get any more oceanfront than this. The sunsets are spectacular! We ate all of our meals on the spacious lanai, and love the fact that the Carter's provide games, books, and beach essentials for their guests - especially love the beach chairs because we used to have to buy them. The condo is within walking distance to both Poipu and Shipwreck beach, so the location can't be beat. Working with Kelly is wonderful because he goes the extra mile to accomodate your needs. We will definitely stay here again because this condo feels like a home away from home.
Owner response:We appreciate that our many returning guests always enjoy their stay. It is a pleasure to develop friendships with the people who frequent our property year after year..

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in this condo in Kauai. It took our breath away to see the waves breaking on the rocks directly in front of us while sitting on the lanai!! I must have taken 50 pictures as each crashing wave was more splendid than the last. We could have spent our whole stay in and around this condo. It was clean and had every amenity possible. It truly had a Hawaiian feel with the open concept and the constant breeze off the ocean. I didn't realize that it isn't air conditioned when we booked the unit, but it wasn't needed even though the temperature was 28 degrees outside. It is close to the pool and hot tub but the complex was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. We especially enjoyed the food gift basket left by Kelly. Thanks Kelly for sharing your little bit of paradise with us. We stayed in 3 different condos on 3 islands during our visit to Hawaii and this (5104)was by far the highlight of our visit. I would go back in a heartbeat

We feel lucky to have found this well cared for, well furnished ocean front apartment, which is among the best we have rented. The long lanai is a perfect place for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and especially for viewing sunsets. We also had many sightings of whales and turtles, and the bonus of a great rainbow view (and photo). Our personal favorite activity was an early morning walk over the Makahuena Headland to the path system close to the beach into and across the Hyatt Resort grounds. Then on to the partially shaded trail over the dunes up to the cliffs and headlands for further ocean viewing and exercise. Returning via the Coffee shop at the Hyatt for a pleasant rest on the terrace, and purchase of a "real" newspaper to browse in the afternoon heat. Koloa Old Town makes a nice short trip to learn some history as well as collect essentials. The "Emperor's Emporium" even had "made-in-Hawaii" children's clothes. Thanks for your attention to the needs of your guests. Yours is definitely a place worth returning to.

5104 is a fantastic place to stay. The views from the lanai and the condo are spectacular. We saw beautiful sunsets, huge crashing waves, boats, turtles, and spinner dolphins. My wife, an interior designer, loved the furniture and set up. The grounds are well maintained with lots of beautiful plants and very clean. The pool and hot tub were excellent and good size. The condo is located in a great spot that is close to lots of activites and beaches. We loved it and had a great time in Kauai. Kelly, the owner, is very helpful and I highly recommended this piece of paradise.

Glorious, beautiful, memorable - there are no words to express just how much #5104 has come to mean to our family. Kelly was so gracious and professional and did everything he could to enhance our stay even more. I can not pick a favorite positive - everything was positive. Our world is so gorgeous and this allowed us a look through the windows of #5104 to witness things we had never had the pleasure of seeing. The staff were friendly and my husband really enjoyed the hot tub. I loved the kitchen - everything there to assist a cook and beautifully arranged. The wraparound lanai allowed the gorgeous view to just keep you guessing as to what great thing would appear next. This condo is everything it is advertised and more. Aloha

This is a wonderful condo. The view is great and we enjoyed watching sunsets from the lanai. The furniture is stylish and very comfortable and the condo is well laid out. It is a perfect place for a family or group of friends to stay. Kelly is a pleasure to work with and provides a lot of great information on restaurants and things to do in Kauai. We would highly recommend this condo.
