Very nice updated central air-conditioned beach cottage in heart of Dewey on Ocean Block (Saulsbury Street) is perfect for couple or small family! (about 250 feet to the beach). Neat and very clean - cleaned between renters by good friend - not service. Mattress pads, spreads & bathroom rugs changed out weekly. Freshly painted each spring. New wood floors and ceiling fans in bedrooms in 2009, New indoor shower in 2008. Flat screen TV w/DVD in LR & extra TV in bedroom. Two Bedrooms - both with 1 queen bed each, and both with ceiling fans. Queen sleeper sofa in living room for occasional guest. Maximum comfortable occupancy is 4 but permitted to 6. Outside shower. Screened porch with vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. Great little house! Children can walk to the beach -No busy roads to cross. Many repeat & satisfied customers for years. We have owned this property since 1994. Please also check our other recently purchased beautiful and updated Dewey property on the bay side which is a larger unit and little cheaper and also listed on VRBO #286448.
Minutes (walking) to restaurants, bars, fast food, coffee shop, town park, bay, shopping and entertainment. One mile to the Rehoboth Boardwalk and Funland with very reasonably priced rides for kids. Pick up the Jolly Trolley into Rehoboth at the corner. Park your car and never move it. Rehoboth Shopping Outlets 1-2 miles away. Lots of fine dining in Rehoboth. One to two off street parking at house.
Rental is Sat - Sat. WE RENT FULL WEEKS ONLY. Check in is 2 PM, Check Out is 10 AM.Please leave house in broom clean condition. Sometimes there may be partial weeks available. For less than 7 day rentals a cleaning fee of $85.00 will be assessed and deducted from security deposit, unless house is left in clean condition as received and then only a $25.00 fee will apply. Bring linens and paper products. Contract Required. $100 discount off 2 consecutive weeks, $250 discount off 3 consecutive weeks.

My family looks forward to staying at this beautiful beach cottage year after year. The owners keep the place in great condition, and you cannot beat the close proximity to the beach. The location also allows for a nice stroll up the beach to the Rehoboth boardwalk or walk less than a block and take the Jolly Trolley. The amenities (i.e. washer/dryer, inside and outside showers, DVD player and practical kitchen) help make our vacation a relaxing stay. This cottage is the perfect beach getaway.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

My husband, my parents and I stayed at this adorable beach cottage for our annual beach vacation. This was by far the best place we have stayed. The cottage is very clean, has everything a family could need and is very close to the beach. All of my interactions with the owner were wonderful and we appreciate that they share this wonderful cottage with renters. We will definitely rent again.

The Dewey Beach cottage was perfect for me and my two children. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We enjoyed taking the Jolly Trolley to Rehoboth, too. The cottage was well equipped and cozy. We were quite comfortable there. The outdoor shower and laundry machines made cleaning up a breeze. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch each day. Thanks for the use of the cottage. With any luck we will make it back again next year

Once again, my family and I had a wonderful time at this superb beach cottage. The kids loved the beach and we loved the close proximity of the cottage to various restaurants, the outlets and most importantly the beach. Also, the TV/DVD player helps out on those rainy days, the washer/dryer helps out with keeping the laundry load reasonable and the gas grill allows for some quick BBQ. Throw in the convenience of an outside and inside shower, and you can’t ask for much more. We would highly recommend this Dewey Beach gem, and plan on a return visit soon.

My wife & I spend a relaxing week in early September at this lovely cottage. It is literally a stone's throw from the beach, and is cute as a button. Not luxurious, but it had everything we needed or wanted..... and is very convenient to the busier areas of Rehoboth, when desired. We'll doubtless be back!! Best regards, Doug Miller

My wife and I along with our three children had the pleasure of staying at the Beach Cottege. The short walk to the ocean is wonderful. The beach is fantastic. Restaurants and Entertainment Facilities were all within walking distance. Our children had a wonderful time. It was one of the most relaxing vacations our family has ever taken.
