You will love this brand new 4,000 square foot, custom built vacation home, which sits on a one acre lake view lot with forest park land all around. The views from all sides of the house are truly breathtaking. The house is just around the corner from the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and just 5 minutes up the hill from the exciting South Lake Tahoe casinos. Fine dining is also closely located in town and half way down the “The Chart House” restaurant is before the casinos for that special dining occasion or just plain casual relaxation.
This home has it all! The open air(area?) top floor plan uniting the kitchen, dining, entertainment center (wet bar, gaming chess, checker/back gammon area and full size regulation pool table), fireplace TV sitting area creates an ambiance of LET’S HAVE A GREAT TIME! in a house decorated in a easy classy country western.
In the master bedroom you will find your own fireplace, a spa tub, an entertainment center, and its own private deck. There is a secluded deck with a large Jacuzzi tub, a great view of the hillside and night time lights and a nice place to relax after a fun day of skiing or scenic hiking. The extra large basement is a great place for the kids to getaway and/or extra guests. Those who can appreciate spectacular vistas with maximum comfort would love this owner built get-a-way.
This home has 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a large finished basement. There are 3 bedrooms with queen-sized beds, two of which have large bay windows with sitting areas. There is one bedroom with 2 double beds, and another bedroom with 1 double bed and one single. The basement is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a queen-sized pullout couch, and a table with chairs.
There are pullout beds in the office (making it a 7th bedroom), living, and basement for additional sleeping space, making 11 beds in total. All sleeper sofas have high quality eletric air mattresses with springs. All rooms are large enough to accommodate extra sleepers on cots or blowup mattresses. I have always dreamed of having a home just around the corner from the ski slopes while also having a view of the Lake Tahoe and still being just a short distance to the casinos and a lot of great restaurants stores. With this house I feel like a get the best of all. I have a beautiful mountain setting while being close to all the fun place to go a for a change of pace.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The love the beauty of the Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountain areas. I best enjoy time spent with friends and family either out skiing, out on the lake, or just hiking around the lake. We either sit on the top floor deck and enjoy the great sunsets or have few drinks while enjoying the heated spa on its own private deck with the good views.
This lift is just around the corner and is the best lift to get a full range of skiing in.
This is a great lift for begginers and Ski School Classs.

Our group of 11 had a great time. Plenty of room. Four levels. Rooms for everyone. Clean. Perfect kitchen. Views to die for. Five minutes to Heavenly. 10 to village. Even had wood for fireplace. Hot tub was perfect. Would love to be there in the summer. The Stanley Black & Decker Gang.

We stayed at this fantastic property last January. The home is clean, beautiful, and spacious. We have stayed many times in this area close to Heavenly Ski Resort and this house is by far the best one we have stayed at. The views from just about every room are fantastic because you are on the crest. We used the, business study, hot tub, pool table, fireplace, and there is a room on the bottom floor that is perfect for kids to hang out at. It is a short drive to the Casinos and Ski areas. We highly recommend it to anyone as an executive cabin for entertaining large groups or family retreats.

This rental is best to describe as a luxurious mountain home, 4 spacious levels with 7 bedrooms on 4 levels. Top level has a wide open room with fire place and gourmet kitchen, great room for large parties. And the view from the deck in front of the top level room across the lake is amazing ! We hosted a corporate training in the residence and had a great time, can only recommend this rental for any occasion with a larger group of people up to 14 or even a couple more .... We loved it! Everyone in our family enjoyed our stay. My favorite view is the view from the living room overlooking the lake and the snowcapped montain. Sunset view is amazing! We are already planning our next vacation here in this cabin. This vacation cabin has all the kitchen necessities. We have a chef in the family and through out our stay he cooked for us and did not have to go out a single day to a restaurant for a meal. The kids loved the entertainment system. This house has a lot of board games to entertain the kids. This vacation rental is well worth the stay and higly recommended to big families who loves to have fun...

The pictures DO NOT do this property justice. The moment you pull you are blown away by the views and the sheer size of the cabin. There was more than enough room for my friends and I and felt like we never had to leave. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to have a great time. Not to mention that its minutes from the Casinos, Heavenly and restaurants. I am planning on returning again for sure.

This was a awsome house, the pics on the web site are good, but they do not do it justice. It is everything they say it is and then more, MUCH MORE. I would rent this house again, we want to make it an anual trip mostly because how nice the house is.

This residence is a luxurious mountain home. It is spacious and beautifully furnished with every amenity one could wish for. The kitchen is a chef's delight complete with a full set of utensils, large pots and pans, a big refrigerator and plenty of space to work. There are picture windows in every room to take advantage of the views of the lake, the mountains and the forest. My friends and I had four days of beautiful weather, wonderful accommodations and fun activities in the village. Our favorite place to be was the deck off the living room in the evening for cocktails and to watch the sun set over the lake and about a million stars appear in the sky. Dear Monte-I just wanted to write to tell you what a fabulous trip we had up in Tahoe last winter. Our annual snow weekend is shared with our closest friends and the Mountain Cabin is the perfect place for our reunions. This was our fourth year staying at your place, and this time it really felt like we were coming to a second home. I want to thank you for all the wonderful improvements; the finished basement is fabulous including the new couch, the DVD player in the study (which we suggested on the survey, thank you!), the abundant kitchen supplies, and the many other touches. The home is absolutely gorgeous with incredible views from every window. The house is so high up on the mountain that even when there is little snow in South Lake Tahoe, we always have snow up at the house, and Heavenly is practically around the corner. The kids love to play pool and we all love the big kitchen and extra long couch in front of the fireplace. Another great thing about the house is that with three floors you can always get away from the group when you want a little quiet time. Your vacation home is a rare find, and we're so glad we discovered it on VRBO a few years ago. Many thanks for the friendly service every time I book (or re-book!) We look forward to next time!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this property. 10 of us (40 yr old guys) stayed there July 15th through July 19th. As we were approaching Lake Tahoe, we saw beautiful, spacious homes up in the hills and had no idea we would be staying in one. It was gorgeous and modern, with fantastic views including the lake itself from the multiple decks and large windows. We were all extremely comfortable and could easily have invited five more people to stay with us. The kitchen had top quality appliances and we had a fantastic barbeque on the deck. One can really entertain guests in this house. The bedrooms were sizable and the beds were comfortable. There were multiple televisions throughout the house and a great theater system for watching movies or direct tv or listening to music. The casinos, beach and lake-side restaraunts were 5 minutes by car. This was the perfect place to stay location-wise to enjoy all of Lake Tahoe. We were 5 minutes from the state line (hence the name) and South Lake Tahoe, CA and Zephyr Cove, NV (two awesome places) were a few minutes away. Everything we needed was provided for us and we stocked the house with food via the supermarket 5 minutes away. The booking process was smooth and the owner and his assistants were a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this place to large groups who want classy, upscale, spacious and centrally located accomodations during their stay in the Lake Tahoe area.

I LOVE this place,I know every nook and cranny and stay as frequently as I can! I love the view from the front lanais and never want to come in. Am out there with my morning coffee and back out around 5ish with my glass of wine. We had a chicks weekend and fixed our favorite adult beverage and went out back to Jacuzzi (with the wonderful view of the trees and the homes going down the hillside) and relaxed and jabbered for hours. It is less than 3 miles to town and the city bus runs right at the end of the street...how easy is that?? Hope to revisit soon..maybe family reunion!!
