  For our 50th anniversary last summer, we decided to celebrate on the West Coast where we could gather our family together. Much research brought us to the Villa Vista setting as the best location, and Kerstin Andersson proved to be the most efficient and friendly coordinator. She responded promptly to all my queries creating a strong link with the owners to be able to accommodate all of us including a baby and a youngster. Villa Vista was exactly as described, perfect setting on the beach, ample amenities for each rental in both kitchen and living quarters. Outdoor supplies were very useful and the hottub a much enjoyed facility, a relaxing fun indeed. A few details needed to be addressed, but once again Kirstin showed her capability in responding without delay to small issues that might have been ignored by a less efficient person. She came to assure our overall comfort and satisfaction. Such dedication in such a friendly manner, truly appreciated by us all. She had recommended a few places to visit, where shopping would be good, and which restaurants to patronize, all excellent advices for us Easterners! So many places to visit with the Monterey Aquarium a MUST, the redwood train another, and of course all the fun at the board! The setting of Villa Vista is perfect for family or friends wanting to share a lovely spot, but giving full privacy with each bedroom en-suite, and easy access back and forth. Both floors were immaculately clean and well provided. With a spectacular view over the ocean, watching dolphins and seals close by, surfers flying high, and incredible sunsets.. a most memorable place where toasting our anniversary was a grand affair fondly remembered by us all. We did and will continue to recommend Villa Vista as a marvelous place to spend some blissful days.

  We went to the Vista Villa to celebrate my moms 80th birthday. The house is great for 12 people with 6 beds and everyone had their own bathroom. The weather was the best that you could hope for, 80 with no fog. Thank you to the wonderful owner for the great memories that we will have of my mom, she had a great time. Hope to come back again

  We absolutely love Villa Vista -- this was our third visit. The location is just perfect (just one house from beach access, right on the ocean) and our little girls love it so much. In fact, they are constantly asking to go back ot the "beach house". We will be back!

  This vacation place is a winner and we highly recommend it.The view is every bit of what was promised and shows in the listing photos. We loved hearing the sound of the surf and watching the changing light and mood at this beach front spot. The upstairs unit is ideally designed to enjoy the view from the great room as well as the wrap around deck. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom so offered privacy as well as plenty of room for adult couples and family cooking and sharing meals. Great stretch of beach for brisk morning walk, romantic sunset stroll, and kids sand play. Lots of surfing and skimboarding...and if you're not a surfer, they are fun to watch and were very considerate of people walking or hanging out on the beach. For an excellent dinner and wine tasting, the Bonny Doon Cigare Volant restaurant on Ingalis Street is a must. Enjoy!

  LOVED the house! Wishing we were still there in fact :) We truly enjoyed watching all of the creatures right out the front living room windows. It was amazing how many dolphins and seals we saw on a DAILY basis. And, after staying at other VRBO sites, this was by far the best equipped house we have rented. You guys thought of everything...it was nice to only have to buy groceries. Thanks for making our trip to CA so memorable and enjoyable!

  Great time at a great place...the location is awesome. The owners were very helpful and so were the people cleaning. The hot tub was grimy and they sent a spa person over that day so we could use it in the evening. The only thing I'd wish for is a couple of loaner bikes to use...other than that it was pefect! THank you to all !! We can't wait to return.

  We stayed there for three nights. The weather was perfect so we spent most of our time on the beach or deck. The house is full of light and a perfect place for old friends for over 40 years to catch up. I highly recommend the house.

  After three nights at The Villa Vista, we felt as though we'd had week's vacation at the beach. We returned to work relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed. We stayed in the lower unit and the living room looks out to the ocean and you are unaware of any other homes or people. We didn't hear a 'peep' from the upper unit although it was occupied. The house was clean, nicely furnished and well stocked. You need to GO!

  My family and I spent five nights at this beautiful home (upstairs) the end of April 2011. The weather was perfect, the house was spectacular...everyone their own master suite! The kitchen/living room/dining room/great room had fantastic views and we all could be together. The deck was perfect all day long as it rapped around the whole place! The bbq was clean and ready to use. The beach toys and kitchen supplies were abundant. Ginger was more than accommodating and wonderful when we left a few items at the house. We can't wait to go back!
