Absolutely wonderful place to stay, location was a half block off the center of Duval Street, right in the middle of the action. Property was well maintained with everything you could possibly need for a Key West vacation. My fiance proposed to me on the deck under the big tree, and we are hoping to return for our honeymoon and many anniversaries to follow.

When I booked this cottage, I expected it to be nice... but it exceeded all of our expectations. The living room was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked (we even cooked a Thanksgiving turkey!), the bedroom was so cozy we took a few extra naps, and the yard was quiet and beautiful. We can't wait to go back!

My husband and I spent a week at the charming Seashell Cottage for our honeymoon. We absolutely made the right decision not only in choosing Key West as our destination but choosing to rent this wonderful little house. It was so nice to be able to go "home" and relax after outings. Wendi and Carolyn were super sweet. They had a lovely boquet of flowers and a card waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone planning a Key West trip. We can't wait to return!!

The cottage was perfect in every way!!! The location, the amenities, the size, everything. It was secluded and quiet if you want to get away and within walking distance of Duval street. I would definitely recommend this property.

At the risk of sounding cliche, the Seashell Cottage was like a home away from home for us...it was our private, secluded little space just steps from Duval... The cottage is adorable and the location can't be beat, but the thing that struck us was the little touches that Carolyn and Wendi provide...things like skewers for the grill and a coffee grinder in the kitchen...a stack of delivery/take out menus for when I didn't feel like using the skewers :-) ...the family pass to Ft Zach and the beach chairs to use there...they may not seem like much, but all of these things made our visit incredibly comfortable... The cottage itself is clean, bright and airy...the cottage and back deck are well secured...wifi works great...for someone who enjoys cooking as much as I do, the fully equipped kitchen was delightful... For our honeymoon we decided to go to Key West for a week and neither of us had ever been so we were unfamiliar with the island. We didn't want to stay at the run-of-the-mill hotel so we started researching and found the Sea Shell Cottage. Boy did we hit the jack pot!!! I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful the place was! So charming, so romantic, so convenient. You are close enough to Duval Street where all the action is on a nightly basis but far away enough that you don't hear the party at night if you want to stay in. My suggestion would be to rent scooters (otherwise you have to pay to park the electric cars) and explore the island. Wendi and Carolyn are so helpful; you can tell they take pride in their properties. They provided maps, discount coupons for dining, drinking and local attractions and a family beach pass for free! The outdoor shower is awesome! We didn't take a shower in doors the whole time we were there! We've stayed here several times while visiting Key West. It's a fabulous location and easy to get everywhere! We fly right in to Key West Airport and taxi to the house and then go out and rent bikes for the week. That's all you need. Easy to get to Fausto's for groceries and everything else is a short bike ride away with no parking hassles. Bike racks everywhere. Love, love, love this place!

We stay here everytime we come to Key West and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The house has everything you need for a great vacation stay whether you're eating out, cooking in or cooking out. The privacy is unbelieveable for a place within walking distance of Duval Street, Fausto's Market (the only place to buy your groceries - fantastic deli!), The Historic Seaport and everwhere else in Key West you'd want to see. The hot tub is always clean, the service is excellent but unobtrusive and the cleanliness is top notch. The owner is very helpful about where to go and things to do. On our last visit, which was to celebrate my birthday, we found flowers and a birthday balloon awaiting us....it doesn't get any better than this for a Key West vacation!
