A charming & sunny Swiss Chalet with a warm and cozy fireplace, updated in 2007 with comfortable high-end furnishings, art and other nice touches throughout, including a brand new designer sofa and leather club chairs. New luxurious pillow top queen beds added in July 2009.
A short walk down the street to Homewood Ski Resort's south lodge and ski lifts. Children under 4 ski free and kids 5 to 12 are only $10.
A very short stroll to Lake Tahoe's legendary azure waters, the West Shore Bike trail, Obexer’s Marina, the incredible new Tahoe Maritime Museum and the Homewood Mountain Ski Resort and your choice of delicious restaurants of any price range in the area. And check the summer schedule for the Tahoe Music festival shows at Homewood Resort which are just a short walk away!
The home features three well-sized, sunny bedrooms with very warm & comfy beds with luxurious linens and room for up to 6 adults. TVs are in all of three bedrooms and another Hi Def TV with DVR in the family room. Beautiful wood windows open in each room so you can enjoy the wonderful fresh scented mountain air.
Abundantly equipped kitchen including spices and a dining room for eight. Full-size washer and dryer. Off street parking for two to five cars. Sunny, private front and rear decks with Adirondack and wicker chairs. Soaring cedar and pine trees providing the perfect shade.
In the snowy winter months driving is easy, since all roads to the chalet are relatively flat. The driveway and parking pad are plowed in the winter months.
