Las Brisas Vacation Home is located on the highest point in the Sunnyside Community in Sandy Bay on the north shore of Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras. The home is on ½ acre.
The oversized front deck is not only great for outdoor living and entertaining, it also offers magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea. The cathedral ceilings, 22 foot high screened cupola and oversized windows not only bring the view inside but also offer cooling ocean breezes year round. A short three minute walk down a quiet path takes you to the beach and private community two-level observation dock. There you’ll find a great place to relax, snorkel, swim, scuba, fish and enjoy the awesome sunsets. A short 50 yard swim takes you to the reef and Spooky Channel in the National Marine Preserve. The snorkeling and scuba diving there is unparalleled.
Las Brisas is close to restaurants and entertainment in West End (about 3 miles) and Coxen Hole (about 4 miles). The rental manager is nearby and will give you a cell phone to use during your stay. He will assure your vacation is trouble free. He will also help you arrange for a rental car or airport pick up can be arranged for a nominal fee if you wish. Taxis are inexpensive and convenient.
Las Brisas is perfect for one or two couples. Both bedrooms are oversized with identical full baths, large glass block showers and air conditioning . There are ceiling fans throughout the home including the front deck area. There is also an outdoor hot/cold shower and gear rinse area.
Scuba diving packages can be arranged at the Bay Islands Beach Club just seconds down the beach. A great deep sea and bone fishing guide is located right next door to the beach club. Anthony’s Key Resort and it’s famous dolphin encounter is about a fifteen minute walk down the beach.

This house is well maintained and located in an area where you can visit the more populated areas of the island. The views are wonderful and the pool refreshing. Manuel, the groundskeeper is a sweetheart - he brought us banana's on a stalk that all ripened at once! Kevin, the property manger took good care of all our needs - even bringing a DVD player from his house for us to use and an internet stick to connect to the world. The neighbors, you'll meet them on the dock, are so nice! Locals and ex-pats here are warm and welcoming. Check out the Blue Parrot, Hungry Kiwi and the Cannibal Cafe! We spent two glorious weeks at this home. From the start of our search, to the day we left there for home, the experience was great. All the information provided by the owner prior to our trip was extremely helpful to us in ensuring the best trip. It's just a beautiful place to vacation. The home was comfortable, clean and provided great amenities along with a great view and awesome sunsets. Snorkeling in Spooky Channel was fabulous and easy to access. All the staff that we dealt with during our stay were warm, friendly and happy to accomodate our needs. The availability of fresh seafood, especially lobster, was great and we certainly took advantage of it! We really didn't want to leave and look forward to returning hopefully next year. We would definitely recommend this site to future travelers.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
