This was such a good choice for accomodations in Summit County. One of the best vrbo experiences I've had. The owner is really easy to work with and booking/check in was pain-free. Property is close to hiking, shopping and the ski resorts, and has excellent views. The home was spacious, yet cozy, with mountain decor. Although this property is pet friendly, it is very clean. Location right off HW9 was better than those properties higher up the winding mountain roads because it's so easy to get to where you want to go quickly from this townhome. The kitchen was stocked with supplies necessary to cook our meals, and we had a good time cooking and grilling. The ignitor on the grill didn't work, but there was a lighter in the utensil drawer that we used to get the grill started. We watched the NCAA basketball tournament games and some movies on the flat screen and liked the surround sound set up. The Blue River runs right behind the complex and is good for taking a morning walk along the paved trail. Some easy fun hikes are 5 minutes away. We hiked the Tenderfoot trail and the Lily Pad Lake trail. Tenderfoot was a great early spring hike with good views. Lily Pad Lake was still snowy, but it would be wonderful in the summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
