Minutes away from shopping, golf, bowling, ice cream parlors, restaurants, mini golf, go carts, charter fishing on the "big lake", boat and jet ski rentals and much more! View beautiful sunsets minutes from the front door of this home.
Public access to Hamlin Lake is just blocks away, for excellent Walleye, Pike, Bass, Perch and Bluegill fishing. Northern Comfort Cottage is in a great neighborhood of nice homes immediately opposite the south bayou of Hamlin lake. Please stay with us this year!

- Coffee pot and all cooking utensils provided. Campfire ring off small patio in back yard. Not pictured is bedroom with full size bed and third bedroom with twin bed. The garage has a carpeted sleeping area with a full size bed, and also a sitting area in front of the fully screened overhead door, Three other windows and a side door are also fully screened so the garage can be opened up, creating a screen-room atmosphere for cooler evenings and a great place for morning coffee.

Our family of four--mom, dad, daughter, & son (ages 13 & 12) plus beagle just spent a great week in Ludington at Tom's house. House had all we needed and then some--full kitchen, laundry, & lots of goodies in the garage to help out (beach chairs & dog tie-out, which we forgot). Be sure to read guest book in house as we got many good tips from there. For dogs, head to Buttersville Beach--dog friendly, beautiful, & right on Lake Michigan (20-min. drive from house). We enjoyed hiking at Ludington State Park, canoeing & fishing on Hamlin Lake. Visited Stearns Beach for great sunsets (Ludington's city beach), quaint town of Pentwater, & Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Shopped & went to Friday night street fair in downton Ludington. Rented movies & had campfire at night at the house. Mini golf & go carts in Ludington, too. Great location and a nice "home away from home." Thanks, Tom!

Thanks for the nice cottage! The leaves were in all their colorful glory in Ludington State park. We hiked for 3 days and also drove down to Silver Lake dunes and lighthouse. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful time once again. This year the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Fishing was good. Landed 31 of 51 salmon that got on the line. Your cottage is perfect for a family outing. Thanks again for opening your home to us!

We had a great stay and are once again planning ahead for next year. Ludington State Park is a great bargain. The fireworks show over the lake was captivating. Thanks Tom for a delightful week!
