This new three story Chalet is located in a major ski area and summer retreat surrounded by panoramic views of the White Mountain National Forest, renowned for its spectacular fall foliage.
The Chalet has 2500 sq. ft. of living area, open concept kitchen, dining, and 20 ft. cathedral ceiling living room with large fieldstone fireplace with year round mountain views. You enter into a large foyer with a half bath and utility room that includes washer/dryer and plenty of room for skis and equipment. The lower floor has a master bedroom with master bath, a bedroom, and a full guest bath.
The third floor has a large master bedroom with balcony overlooking living room and mountain views with master bath that includes two-person jetted tub. The 10'X28' deck is perfect for relaxing while you listen to the sounds of nature that surround you.
The Chalet is ideally located off route 16a between renowned North Conway Village and Jackson Village, both within a 7-10 minute drive. Four major ski resorts (Attitash, Wildcat, Cranmore, Black Mountain) are within a 5-15 minute drive. A private swimming hole on the Saco river is a 3 minute drive. Rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, kayak/canoeing, and the 35 acre Story Land children's amusement park are all within minutes as well.

Nice Chalet in Excellent Location

We stayed at this chalet 1/22 through 1/27. If the rating system allowed, I would give it 4 1/2 stars. We had 5 adults and one 5 year old child and fit perfectly without feeling cramped. The house is relatively new with decent furniture and very clean. There are several very nice features in this house. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths with 2 of the bedrooms having a private bathroom and the 3rd bedroom having its own bathroom in the hallway. There is also a 1/2 bath in the entrance level hallway. The upper room has a large jacuzzi, which we didn't use but looked nice. Layout is very nice and the kitchen is well-equipped. The great room is comfy and the fireplace works really well. It is central to all of the ski mountains. If you go in the summer, it is very close to Storyland. We skied 4 mountains - Cranmore, Wildcat, Attitash and Black Mountain. The house was within 15-20 minutes of all of them. While the chalet is in a very quiet secluded neighborhood, it is also close to the main road (302/16) with many options for eating out and shopping. We ate at the Red Parka and at the Moat Brewery. Red Parka was good for steak and the Moat had a diverse menu (try the hush puppies appetizer with maple syrup - yum!). Overall, the house is clean and well-maintained. The Owner is proud of the home with good reason - it is not only a rental, it is a home with nice personal touches. The price is very reasonable. We would highly recommend renting this house. As I mentioned, I would give it 4 1/2 stars. The only reason I would not give it 5 is because of the TV (works well but could be newer and a little bigger) and perhaps another TV in the house somewhere (not that we spent much time in the house with so much to do in the area). Also, it seems the owner may not have rented the house much in the past so working out the details with the lease was a little work but in all everything worked out fine in plenty of time and I don't blame them for being careful because the house is very nice. Note to owner: If you plan on continuing to rent the house, you may want to post more pictures on the rental site, maybe a picture of the upstairs bedroom and bathroom - they are nice rooms!
