Welcome to the Sandpiper. Our non-smoking cottage offers you a comfortable and cozy get-away. You will find our updated cottage quite charming with everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. We provide a grill and picnic table in our park-like setting for your outdoor enjoyment. Sit, relax, and enjoy the birds and wildlife, or take a 4 minute walk to the center of Ogunquit Village.
A quick 8 minute walk or short trolley ride takes you to the 3 1/2 mile pristine white sand beach. Explore the Marginal Way, a winding foot path along the ocean's edge, which leads you to Perkins Cove home of the only wooden draw footbridge in the country. Fishing, lobstering, and sightseeing cruises are not to be missed. There are countless shops, art galleries, and museums not to mention the outstanding selection of restaurants. Next door we also have 2 other cottages to rent. The Sand Castle a 2 bedroom 1 bath and the Sand Dollar 2 bedroom with 2 baths. All prices affordable. .

Year Purchased: 2005
Just a short bio of the proud owners of The Ogunquit Cottages. We fell in love with Ogunquit and its lovely coastline and 5 years ago took the plunge. Mark works full time in Portland and I have worked in Ogunquit seasonally for the last 15 years. Meeting our guests and sharing our love of this area is still exciting for us. We are pleased to say our guests are the nicest people in the world. We keep our cottages sparkling clean, have a fantastic location and best of all try our best to keep our rates very affordable. Come and join our cottage family.

Ogunquit is truly a very special community. You have one of the nicest beaches anywhere, unbelieveable restaurants, and numerous original shops. Marginal Way is just one of the nicest walks you will ever take.

Our stay in the Sandpiper was excellent. It met all our needs. It was very convenient to bring out puppy with us. Located very close to town and we could walk everywhere. We would recommend the Ogunquit Cottages to anybody and would come back in the future.

Had a great time in Ogunquit. Great place, great food, lovely beach. The accommodations in our cottage was excellent. Very clean, quiet and perfect for my wife and I. Very close to downtown so an easy walk every day. Thanks for the use of the cottage and highly recommend it for anyone wishing for a nice quaint place to stay while in Ogunquit. Ron and Mary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper. The cottage was quaint, clean and conveniently located to all of downtown Ogunquit when we felt like walking to see the sights. We spent our days exploring the southern coast beaches by car and especially enjoyed the Nubble Lighthouse area of York as well as eating at Mike's Clam Shack and Barnacle Billy's in Wells. The cottage was a great base to use for our travels and a quiet refuse in the evening just sitting outside in the yard with a drink or two. This has been my second year staying at the Oqunquit Cottages. Last year I stayed in the Sandpiper a very cozy and charming 1 bedroom studio. My dog Sparky and I were very comfortable and the price was extremely affordable. This year I stayed in the Sandcastle a 2 bedroom cottage and had some friends visit who had never been to Ogunquit and they also fell in love with the place, we plan to return in September. Everything is within walking distance from the cottages as well. If you have never been to Ogunquit or are looking for a great place to stay I would highly recommend this property. Check out Prime Steakhouse on the way into Perkins Cove, I also highly recommend this restaurant, one of the best!
