Nestled between a lagoon and the ocean on Sea Pines’ prestigious Gold Coast this generously sized home is one of the best addresses on Hilton Head. Walk past the private pool in the lush, tropical back yard directly onto the best beach on the island – no high-rise development, just miles of firm, golden sand.

Completely renovated in 2005 using the talents of Hilton Head’s leading architect and a local interior decorator with an international reputation, 26 East Beach Lagoon has everything you need for a perfect vacation. With six bedrooms and 6.5 baths the house can accommodate parties of up to 14, making it ideal for extended families, gatherings of friends, wedding parties, or golf buddies.

There are three identical master suites with king size beds and TVs; two on the second floor that open directly onto a large screened-in porch and the ocean, and one on beach level that leads directly to the pool and garden. Sleeping accommodations on the second floor are completed with an elegant double overlooking the lagoon.

The beach level floor includes a twin bedded room ideal for teenagers or younger members of the family. There is a king size pull-out couch for additional guests. Each floor has a large and over-equipped living area. At beach level this includes a 32" plasma flat screen television with Surround Sound, DVD player and VCR, as well as a wet bar and beverage center.

French doors lead directly from this area into the pool deck seating area, which includes a stainless steel grill. The pool can be heated for a small extra charge, and has its own half bathroom and an outdoor shower. Also on beach level is an office with high-speed Internet connection and a well-equipped laundry room.

The living areas on the second floor include a formal dining room and a large Great Room with overstuffed sofas and easy chairs that make relaxing a pleasure. The television is a 32” plasma flat screen, with Surround Sound home theater, and DVD and VCR players. Also on this floor is a kitchen that is straight out of the glossy magazines, with its stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, hand crafted cabinetry, large pantry and breakfast area. The entire house is air conditioned, backed up by numerous fans for those who prefer open air living.

The pleasures of Sea Pines Plantation are well known to the Hilton Head cognoscenti, and 26 East Beach Lagoon is perfectly situated to partake of them all. It is a five-minute walk to Sea Pines Golf Center with two 18 hole courses and the world-renowned Golf Academy; the Sea Pines Beach Club, with its full bar and restaurant service and watersports rentals, is a stroll down the beach; a ten minute drive will bring you to the charm of Harbor Town with its marina, tennis courts and restaurants; the equestrian can find horseback riding two miles away at Lawton stables; for those who prefer to bike to their destinations Sea Pines is covered in bike trails.

    • We have rented this house approximately 15 times, year after year. It is undoubtedly the best location in Sea Pines. The home is very private, has a walkway to the beach, has a wonderful layout for small children, teenagers, and now our newly-wed children. The home is located on the beach, on the lagoon, and on a dead-end street so there is no traffic. The house was completely gutted and redone three years ago and is in immaculate condition. The kitchen and outdoor grilling area are very well equipped.

    • We just got back from a week vacation staying in this house and it was FABULOUS! We had 7 adults and 4 kids and the lay out was awesome! The second den was great for the kids downstairs. We spent a lot of time on the HUGE screened in porch, the pool was so pretty, and the location could not have been better! The private walkway to the beach was great and the kids loved running back and forth. I would highly recommend staying in this house and look forward to a return visit!
