Enjoy a tropical escape to the quiet, south end of Marco Island. This beautiful, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium sits on one of Marco Island's many canals and is one of only 16 units in the complex. Enjoy the view of the pool and canal from this nicely-appointed, first-floor unit. Walk or bike to the beach which is just four blocks away. Marco's beach is gorgeous and there is no threat of oil from the BP oil spill.
There is direct boat access to the Gulf of Mexico in less than 10 minutes through Caxambas Pass. Restaurants, shopping, and movies are conveniently located to the condo, but you are away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. This is truly the nicest part of the island.
This 2100-square-foot (1600 square feet under air) condominium boasts a beautiful, 400 square foot screened lanai that runs the entire length of the unit. New porcelain tile was installed in November 2011. Each room opens to the lanai so you can enjoy the pleasant tropical breezes. The master suite includes a large bedroom with king-size bed, dressing area with twin sinks, a large walk-in closet, and large bathroom with separate shower stall, Jacuzzi tub, toilet, and bidet.
The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the condominium allowing for maximum privacy. This room has twin beds, a large walk-in closet, and bathroom with tub. The unit is tastefully decorated with new living room furniture and the fully-equipped kitchen allows you to entertain in style. Two reserved parking spaces are right outside your door.
Other amenities include a washer and dryer, microwave, beach chairs, linens, cable TV, VCR, stereo, local telephone service and barbecue grill.

Year Purchased: 2005
Dan and I are both 50-something working professionals who are looking forward to the day we can retire to Marco Island. We love to play golf, garden and are huge Green Bay Packers fans (we hit all the Marco Island Packers' bars when we are down there during football season and have met lots of other Packers fans in Marco). When in Marco, we enjoy playing golf, walking on the beach, swimming, and relaxing with family and friends.
Why the Owner Chose Crows Nest
I've been coming to Marco Island since the early 1990s when my mom would come down for the winter. We loved the laid back flavor of Marco and since we both grew up in the midwest we appreciate the fact that a lot of midwesterners have settled in Marco. When the kids were all finished with college we were considering buying a place in Marco. On the last day of our March 2005 visit, we had planned to play golf but it rained. We did some window shopping in town and saw an ad in a real estate office for Crow's Nest, which is next door to my mom's place at Vantage Point. We looked at it, fell in love, and the rest is history! We returned home, made an offer, and two months later were Marco Island owners!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We love the location on the south end of Marco Island away from the business area of town. We can walk to the beach and the Caxambas Pass marina. We have a boat dock and enjoy fishing and crabbing off the dock. Crow's Nest is small enough that we know the other owners, although we only get down there mostly in the off season. The condo is comfortable and we enjoy sitting on the lanai having breakfast and reading the paper. We plan to retire to Marco in a few years but in the meantime we are happy to share Casa Paradiso with others!

The description is totally accurate, the convenience and comfort that is experienced at this condo is personified as total relaxation. 1st floor unit, pool directly outside, grill on front patio, guest rooms at opposite end from master, large kitchen and screened lanai. You are at the extreme southern end of the island which is quiet and not heavily trafficed. Beach is 10 min. walk, fishing is less than 10 min. walk, walk to the movies and to restaurants. And,at the end of a relaxing day retire to a most comfortable bed, even more comfortable than our own.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My wife and I have just returned from our fourth extended stay at this comfortable condo on Marco Island. We keep returning because it is clean, well-equipped, bright and airy and, from our point of view, ideally located about 10 minutes walk from the beach. By that I mean that it has none of the disadvantages (noise, litter, traffic, crowds etc) of being on, or too close to, the beach. For anyone with similar tastes we can certainly recommend this Crow's Nest apartment as a homey vacation lodging.

We have had a wonderful month on Marco Island at Casa Paradiso. The VRBO description is accurate and the unit was clean. The accommodation is terrific, well fitted, in a convenient location and very quiet. Just what we love. The condo is spacious and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks to the beach and around the neighborhood. The owners were readily available and very helpful. We would happily return if the opportunity presents itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is very clean and comfortably appointed. We were especially pleased with the layout which provides the master suite and guest suite complete privacy at opposite ends of the unit. The small-sized, low-rise building is quiet and friendly, entirely to our taste. Definitely recommended.
