"Poderi Val Verde" - a privately owned beautiful old estate from the 16th century is situated in the heart of Tuscany near the famous town of Castellina in Chianti with shopping and dining facilities of all levels.

The guest house "Casa Pineda" with its five comfortable apartments as well as the separate cottage "La Capannina" breath the Tuscan flair since old beam ceilings, original cotto floor and interlocking room structures have been saved when restoring it only few some years ago.

"Il Giardino" - 1st floor: comfortable 3 bedrooms (1xqueen, 1x3 single, 1x large double &1 small queen) with 2 en-suite shower/wc and 1 en-suite tub/wc - sleeps maximum 9 persons - separate cosy living room with original open fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen/dining room (4flame gasstove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer combination) with seperate pantry - wintergarden-style loggia, large terrace with portable barbeque, passionfruit-covered loggia with beautiful views for al-fresco dining

"Il Nido" - 1st floor: two-level "treetop" apartment with 1 bedroom (plus single sofa bed) - sleeps 3 persons, en-suite shower/wc, small sitting room with open fireplace, kitchen/dining room - very private, secluded roof terrace with portable barbeque, accessable from kitchen and bedroom, breathtaking views.

"Buon Riposo" - smart apartment combination of "Il Nido" and "Il Rifugio" = resulting in spacious 2floor accommodation with 2 bedrooms each with en-suite shower/wc and kitchen area, individual entrances and outdoor space - the perfect solution for a family with grown children or two couples travelling together. Sleeps max. 6 persons

"La Tana" - ground floor: the economical family accommodation - 2 small bedrooms one with a loft bed - sleeps 5 persons, 1 shower/wc, fully-equipped kitchen/dining room (4flame gas stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer combination), large terrace with barbeque, romantic rosecovered loggia.

"La Bellavista" - 1st floor: 1 bedroom, shower/wc, small kitchen, large livingroom with original open fireplace and double sofa bed - sleeps 4 persons - large patio terrace with portable barbeque and romantic loggia

"Casa Acacia" - the oldest of our quarry stone farmhouses, ex-stable and hayloft = combination of "La Tana" and "La Bellavista" - by simply opening the door between ground and first floor these two apartments return to be the complete house of once sleeping a total of 9 persons. Perfect solution for 2 befriended families or 3 couples - privacy due to 2 entrances and 2 outdoor areas

"Il Rifugio" - Ground floor: cosy studio with sleeping alcove, shower/wc, sitting area with single sofa bed - sleeps tightly 3 persons, smart bar-style kitchenette, very large terrace with barbeque.

"La Capannina" - -ground floor: simply the romantic honeymoon cottage since sitting with its back to all other buildings - 1 bedroom with en-suite shower/wc, kitchen/dining room with open fireplace, sitting area with 2 single sofa beds - sleeps 4 persons - large terrace accessable from both rooms, portable barbeque


General: A extended well-cared garden park (2 ha) with hundreds of flowers pots, ornamental trees and citrus plants and large shared pool (6,5x11mx1,20-1,60m max - and 2x3m splashpool entrance platform for the smallest) surrounds the 4 houses of Poderi Val Verde. Set aside the "sport center" with its soccer field, basketball, volleyball grounds, badminton, table-tennis as well as sandbox with fairyhouse and swing for the smallest.

The property of "Poderi Val Verde" extends over 86.5 ha (approx. 300 acres)and is part of the extented natural resort of "Oasis del Chianti", the only absolute no hunting zone in the area with an amazing variety of fauna and flora. An island of absolute peace and privacy and the perfect starting point for short or long trekking and hiking tours on trails and "white" roads through the worldfamose vineyards, forests and olivegroves of the Chianti Classico.

11 cats, 2 friendly male dogs (roaming freely) , chicken, geese, ducks, pigeons etc. add to the flair of a typical Tuscan farm holiday
