  In all our travels (this our 8th trip to the islands), we have never rented a condo before; but we are sure glad we did for this trip! We feel we "hit the jackpot”. What a wonderful place! Our granddaughter calls it "your Hawaii home", and we have truly felt at home here (we stayed for a month). The condo has a code for entry - not having a key to remember is so nice. We loved the decor and all the kitchen dishes/pots/storage containers etc. And the view- we saw some AWESOME sunsets from the lanai not to mention many whales, dolphins and all the surfers, etc. that enjoy this area. We ued the pool and BBQ several times and having the elevators was nice. Before we arrived, all our questions were answered and we could tell when we walked in that this condo is well taken care of. If you are looking for shave ice, go down the street to Local Boyz. Oceans Beach Bar and Grill has a "sinful" "to die for" dessert - coconut crusted apple bananas and ice cream plus they have the pig you get at a luau available (and it is very good). Everyone from our extended family that was here ate there at least once. Maui Wave Riders are great for surf lessons and they are right across the street. We walked to several beaches and the park and love this area. We did NOT need to use the AC- the open doors and fan supplied plenty of air. We WILL be staying here again!

  Dorli provided us with everything we needed and more. This was our first condo rental and we did not know what to expect. She made it easy and the condo was perfect. The pictures posted are exactly what we walked into and the location was great! You can walk across the street to the beach but I would recommend driving or walking a little ways down to the bigger beaches. We packed our car with some of the beach gear provided and drove to a different beach everyday. There is a big park close by for the kids and we walked there daily. There are also a couple markets for shopping and eating right down the street. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone staying in Maui. Lastly, the view was amazing from the balcony!

  Hi Dorli: I just wanted to drop you a quick note thanking you for providing us with a terrific condo for our vacation! Everything met our exceeded our expectations! The views and sunsets were spectacular. The location was great as we surfed and paddled everyday and hung out at Charley Young Beach. I am seriously thinking about booking for next year. I'll will contact you in early in 2013 for the fall. Thanks Again!

  My wife and I recently stayed at Dorli's condo (60-1) on the 6th floor of the Island Surf building for our honeymoon. This was our first trip to Maui and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at our temporary home away from home. Dorli was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful in sending us tips and information on the sights, car rental, etc. When we arrived it was late at night so it was strange not seeing the ocean; but when we awoke the next day, we were so pleased with the view from the Lanai. It was breathtaking and we still miss seeing the gorgeous view! Being on the 6th floor makes all the difference as you can see the ocean, beach and surfers pretty much from anywhere in the living room and kitchen. You are literally a 1min walk from the condo to being on the beach. Island Surf is very centrally located in S. Kihei. There are plenty of shops nearby within walking distance and I can't think of a beach we went to that took more than 15-20 min to get to by car. As for the unit itself, it was very clean and comfortable and has pretty much all the amenities one needs. Although S. Kihei Road can be a tad noisy with the vehicle traffic, things were quiet at night and there were no issues with noise from either the neighbours or the outside traffic. Dorli, thanks once again for letting us stay at your unit. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

  We spent 10 wonderful days in Maui, staying in Dorli's condo. What a great experience! The condo is everything it is advertised to be. VERY clean, well stocked, quiet, comfortable...that bed is indeed worth every penny! I have never slept so well on vacation. It was absolutely a treat to be able to open the windows to the tropical breezes and not use AC. The condo is close to everything. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the lanai every morning, watching the surfers, and the paddleboard lessons right below us at the rental place. There are so many great restaurants to choose from, but one of our favorites was the one we found on our last full day there - Cafe O' Lei - a little south of the condo. Great food, reasonable prices. Thank you for providing such a quality place to stay! If we get the chance to return, you can be sure we will be staying here again! John & Jackie

  I stayed in the IS 60-1 condo for my most recent vacation in Maui. I have stayed in numerous condos and hotels and this was one of, if not the best that I've stayed in. The condo itself was great - very clean and spacious and bright. The view was specatacular and second to none. It was in a GREAT location - right off S. Kihei Rd and underneath everything you (well I) needed (Maui Dreams Dive Co - best dive shop on the island) and a few different surf schools :) You really can't ask for a better place to stay when in Maui - I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone considering visiting Maui. On top of just a great condo, Dorli was incredible in booking and accomodating my needs from start to finish and made the entire experience easy and simple - just the way it should be. Additionally, my schedule changed and I was able to extend my stay and she was just incredible. Overall an A++++++++++++++++ experience - THANK YOU! :) :)

  I usually don't write reviews, but this time I have to make an exception. I had the tickets for this wonderful place to go with my mother but I left that "small issue" of getting a place for the last minute. A friend of mine recommended me vrbo and I checked several places. Finally I found Dorli's place and I decided to give it a try. It had one of the best prices and all that I needed. Two sleeping places (a bed and a couch) I wanted to give my mom some space to enjoy after her long trip to visit me (she came all the way from Europe!). What can I say, Dorli changed their family plans -as they were going to go this place- and made me an offer I could not refuse. The place is clean, top floor, and have beautiful views to the ocean. We enjoyed several sunsets from there, reading a book seating in the terrace. I had a very small problem with the lock that I talked to Dorli over email. The communication was perfect and very fast and we agree on a solution that worked. We barely used the house except for sleeping and breakfast, but definitely it had all that we needed. Unbeatable in that price range.

  Aloha, We had two fantastic weeks at this fabulous condo. The proximity of the condo to the beach, stores and easy access to the highway made our stay even more enjoyable. There is everything in the condo you could ask for! Of course we had to buy the food.The condo is quiet, and in the morning you can enjoy the view of the surfers while having your morning cup of coffee. Everything was just perfecto! Mahalo Dorli!   We had aniother wonderful time in Maui,thanks to Dorli;s condo. The condo is in a great location.Although we had a car and we toured the whole island we would walk to the store or shopping most nights as the weather is always great. it is in a great location for the beach as well,four beaches are very close. We will be returning again in the future and look forward to the great full veiw of the ocean. We came back home and blew up one of our photos for the lanai and hung it our our wall ,just beautiful.. Al lthings are in the condo as well ,we especialy enjoyed the beach supplies. Thanks again Dorli Frank and Jane --Cananda
