In Kingston Plantation, a 145 oceanfront resort, this spacious three bedroom ground floor villa is located in a quiet area yet real close to the beach and pool area. Owners and their guests will enjoy the large two tier deck, with plenty of room for entertainment, and overlooking part of the lake. This unit also has many upgrades not commonly found in rental units and is in excellent condition. We have taken the upmost in care and consideration in updating our villa and supplying it with modern conveniences and quality furnishings, appliances, linens, towels, etc.
Amenities include a large 4.5 million dollar Sport & Health Club with state of the art fitness equipment, racquetball courts, sauna and Jacuzzi, large indoor pool, nine lighted tennis courts, pro shop, and more.
Other amenities in Kingston include an Ocean Front Activity Center which consists of several outdoor pools, a sauna, a splash bar and grill, beach volley ball area, a large pavilion for outdoor entertainment, rest room facilities, and more. Our villa is about a 5 minute casual walk or a 2-3 minute drive to the Splash Park area and the ocean. There is also a pool across the lake from the villa which is about a two minute walk.
There may be a minor charge for the use of some amenities. The complex also has numerous paved walking and biking trails, several of which pass over a beautiful lake as you approach the ocean area.
Our villa is about a 5 minute casual walk or a 2-3 minute drive to the Splash Park area and the ocean. There is also a pool across the lake from the villa which is about a two minute walk.

Why the Owner Chose West Hyde Park
While vacationing in Myrtle Beach for over 25 years before moving to the area we vacationed at many different resorts. You name them and we were probably there. They included some very nice places like Pelican Watch, Pelicans Landing, and Ocean Creek but none compared to Kingston Plantation where we continued to vacation until we purchased our villa there in 1997.
Our villa then became our 2nd home, which we still enjoy today. We also enjoy renting our villa to guests who treat it like their 2nd home. A home away from home. We will continue to strive to make our villa one of the best vacation properties in the area to rent. We expect the best and therefore expect our guests to want the same.

Jim, and his wife, Bonnie, spent more than 25 years vacationing in Myrtle Beach and owning two condominiums here before deciding to permanently move to the area in 2003. Originally from Maryland, Jim spent 30 years in the automotive industry including 25 years with the same company, Tate Automotive Group in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He held many positions in the automobile industry such as a business manager and business manager supervisor, sales manager, general manager, and vice president.
After retiring from the automotive industry in 2003, Jim joined forces with CENTURY 21 Broadhurst and Associates, Inc. In 2004 he received the CENTURY 21 Emerald Award for his sales achievements and was one of the top producers for CENTURY 21 Broadhurst and Associates, Inc. In 2005, Jim received the CENTURY 21® Double CENTURION® Producer award and the CENTURY 21 Broadhurst and Associates Top Producer award. Jim was also one of the top 25 CENTURY 21® Carolina’s (North and South Carolina) producers for 2005.

We had a great time while staying in this villa. The resort amenities were wonderful; the villa was clean with all the amenities of home. There was plenty of room, a two tiered deck off the back that is right by a pond that kids had a blast fishing in. Two families with kids ranging from 20 down to 9 and everyone had fun. We loved it and would defiantly rent it again (hopefully next year).
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.
