Ortley Beach is a quiet Jersey Shore Barrier Island gem, sandwiched between its more flamboyant neighbor, Seaside and its citified cousin, Lavallette. Most homes are owned by families who come back summer to bask in the summer sunshine. Only 8 miles in from the Parkway with easy access to Atlantic City and Philadelphia.

Our home is centrally located; just enough kitsch to let you know you are at the shore-ie boardwalk, cotton candy, rides and laughter yet still letting you return to the relative quiet and privacy of your own place. Our experience is that many return as we did, remembering fond memories and now, sharing them with our own family and friends.

My family and I purchased this home in 2005 and with much love and labor have prepared it for our summer guests. We take great pride in our Shore furnishings and the comfort of our home. Many of us enjoyed the Jersey Shore growing up, as kids, teenagers and later as adults. We want our guests, too, to enjoy this very unique and special experience of "Summer at the Shore."
