We are building our new home up the BACK OF THE ACER, all the Framing and Roofing is done... so they are mostly working inside the house and only weekdays from 8am to 4pm. the house is further away than the neighbors (about 150 ft) so very little noise.
we do share the driveway, but very little activity there. (see last photo below)

Hua'aina is a classic Hawaiian-style country style home with all amenities on Large lot with fruit trees DIRECTLY ACROSS THE ROAD FORM from world famous surfing beach, Rocky Point (100 yards to the sand) on Oahu's North Shore. It is a large property with multi-bedrooms. Three bedrooms in main house with two extra bedrooms with huge screened in lanai in the Pavilion just adjacent. Private gated Parking for 3 cars off street.
Living room amenities include color TV, with digital cable reception, free HBO plus 100 premium channels including music stations, and stereo with VCR, DVD, and CD player.
Free high-speed internet service with Whfi, so bring your laptops.
The complete, fully-equipped kitchen includes all appliances, pots and pans, and utensils for the true culinarian. There is a gas barbecue in the back courtyard with teak table and chairs for eight, and the large dining room table inside will comfortably accommodate six to eight people.
Outdoor patio seating in the back courtyard is private. Also outdoors are a shower, toilet, and a separate storage area for surfboards, etc.
You can take ten steps to a five mile plus paved Walk, Bike, or Running trail along the coast.
Pipeline to Sunset Beach and other legendary surf spots are within walking distance from the property during winter months for world class surfing from November thru March. It is less than two miles to Shark's Cove and Waimea Bay Beaches, and within three miles of Velzyland, Jocko's, and Chun's Reef.
During the summer months, snorkeling, skin-diving, kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding and windsurfing are enjoyed here. There are also many hiking trails along the hills that surround these beaches.
The house is about fifteen minutes from the historic whaling town of Haleiwa, which is the main town on the north shore of Oahu. It has lots of restaurants, shopping, a marina (in case you would like to go deep sea fishing, shark cage, or other jet ski/boat rentals), and live entertainment in a couple of the local restaurants. The Turtle Bay Resort is about five miles away from the house in the other direction, and they feature two championship golf courses, horseback riding, and a disco.
There is a Foodland Supermarket about a mile and a half from the house which has a Starbucks Coffee Shop. All the island activities, from hang-gliding to scuba diving, from Polo matches to Jet-skis are all just minutes away from our tropical retreat.
The water is crystal clear and the snorkeling is great. Scuba diving is also a major attraction on the north shore with both boat and shore dives available. Waimea Falls is only about 2 miles away, and hiking at Waimea Valley and visiting the falls is an unforgettable experience.
The Polynesian Cultural Center is also about a fifteen minute drive north. They offer unforgettable luaus with traditional island dancing and buffet dinner with local Hawaiian favorites. They also offer live music and other shows nightly. |
