This is our second family trip to Lake Keowee and this home. This years trip to get here had some bumps...but once here we all enjoyed the warm water, the grand house and great Greenville Drive game (even though we lost). Thank you once again for opening your home.

We've been coming up to this area for the past 7 years with the family to white water raft on the Chattoooga, each year extending our stay on finding and exploring. Such great outdoor activities here. This is our 3rd year on Lake Keowee and the Best House Yet! The last 2 years we rented boats for a day or 2 and enjoyed beaching at isolated island. This year we towed our own boat up and found the Cliffs, waterfalls, evenings at the Tiki Hut and so much more. Your house was very accomodating and comfortable. We are sorry we have to leave and can't wait to come back next year! Thank you so much Jana for sharing.

Wow, what an awesome house! We rented on Lake Keowee last year and this is definietly our favorite! Flat lot, great house, swim dock, etc! Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful and opening up your house to our family. We had a super fun time.

Our family stayed at this house for a week 2 years ago and had a wonderful time. Tons of space and loved the lake. However we will never return! They accused us of leaving a mess and smearing chocolate ice cream all over. We have been renting vacation houses for the last 10 years and never have we ever had any problems. We are well respected people who would never think of leaving a mess for anyone to clean. We never had chocolate ice cream just vanilla and we never ate food in the room where this supposed mess was left. So rent with caution and know you will not get your deposit back!!

Owner response:We, as all Homeowners who share our Lakehouse do indeed charge a refundable security deposit for a reason. We fortunately had the deposit from the renter above to cover our costs for their damages and disrespect of our Lakehouse. We have been sharing our home for a few years now and have had wondeful families whom have made wonderful memories at our Lake. The last thing we would want to do is to "have" to keep a deposit, so nice to see people that can appreciate our home and treat it as their own. This renter above was a disappointing exception. We have been very forunate with the families we rent to and have many of the same families return. Come stay, enjoy our home. We take pride in our home and do screen well and once again this tenant was a disappointment. Thank you all whom have stayed, enjoyed and cared for our home as it was your own. Hope to have you back again.

This is our 4th Thanksgiving on Lake Keowee, but the first here. What a serene and comfortable place for a family of 10. The weather was perfect, some days warm enough for boating on the lake, there's reasonably close places for hiking, the leaves were ablaze! We hope to return again!

Three Clemson Grads along with their spouses had a really good time in both of your houses. We've all been friends for forty something years and we meet and catch up, and share wine and beer. The Tigers lost, which caused some frowns, but good food, wine and laughter turned them around. Your home was a haven of quiet and rest. We allhad such fun, it was truly the best! Our week here has been everything we hoped for and more! The house and property are set up so perfectly for families and we enjoyed every bit of it. Family Vacation - We came together from VA & GA for an alternative to the beach. This was PERFECT! Our favorites include morning walks, swimming off the dock, exploring nearby towns & hanging out at the house at night playing games and watching the children. We all enjoyed Wednesday flea market in Pickens and recommend getting there bright-n-early as vendors pack up as early as 10am when it starts to get hot! The winding drive up to Highlands, NC was jam-packed with opportunity to see parks, waterfalls, towns etc but we sped on by so we could get back and jump in the lake for more swimming. We still have lots left on our "to see & do list" for next year. The water's nice...the apples from the Orchard were Yummalicious - we made 3 huge pans of Apple Crisp. And the greatest memory is that Megan is officially walking! (Lots of practice at the ranch). FUN FUN FUN!

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The grounds provided us with plenty to do. The dock was excellent for our needs and the swimming was fabulous. The house was plenty large for us and we had lots of placed to curl up quietly as well as be social. The wi-fi was excellent and vast selection of DVD's was awesome. Thanks so much!

Dear Jana and Tommi, We all had a wonderful time here in the Lake Keowee area! We loved everything, from jumping from the dock into the lake (finally), tubing, white water rafting on Chattooga and trying to catch fireflies in the backyard. The kids had a ball playing pool and boardgames at night. You home is beautiful, had everything we needed and the view is spectacular. It was quite a 50th Birthday Celebration!
