Directly on the beach, this beautiful modern decorated beachfront condominium provides outstanding and unique ocean and beach views, both the porch and side windows all have sweeping vistas East to Panama City Beach (beautiful night lights) and West to Destin. The Condominium is situated on the second floor of a small three-story building. The second-story orientation allows a perfect perch above the shore with both beach and blue-green gulfwater views...one of the most up-close and personal veiws of Blue Mountain Beach.
The condominium is over 1000 square feet, large bedroom equipped with two queen beds, plenty of closet and dresser drawer space, flat-screen television set with cable and a DVD, Bose wave for music. Unique bathroom layout provides two separate vanity/toilet areas, both share a connected tub/shower room with a small linen closet. Large living/dining area appointed with Classic Modern Sectional Sofa, two side-chairs, and a great side window facing west... sunsets are incredible from this vacation spot. Track lighting highlighting some original art above the four seat custom modern hard-rock maple dining table (7 legs). The porch! A large porch compliments the package with plenty of room and plenty of views!! Watch the dolphin and fish play in the morning! Dreamy Sand Destin/Destin lights on the edge of the horizon west at night.
This home-away-from-home is so close to the water that you can keep an eye on your gang at the beach from air-conditioned comfort in your living room. Just steps from your door you will find a abundance of shops and dining opportunities... from bike rentals to biscuits, from limes to banking is literally two blocks away. Biking, walking trails abound around this unit. A Florida State Road 30-A runs along the beach, it has a separate paved greenway path which winds along... over small bridges... past beaches (Seaside, Grayton, Santa Rosa, Watercolor, etc.) and lakes (Eastern Lake, Deer Lake, Alligator Lake, Little Redfish Lake) stringing along some of the most picturesque vistas to be had in Florida. Many of the lakes are State Natural Protected Areas, these have fun and beautiful trails (mountain bike heaven) small bridges are designed with bikes in mind these trails wind along for over twelve miles.
Neat unique shops can be found just down the road East in architecturally famous Seaside, also west 3 miles in Gulfplace/Santa Rosa Beach. Do we even need to mention the golfing (Santa Rosa Golf Club three miles away... so many more than I can list within 20 miles), fishing, swimming, sandcastle building, snorkeling, diving, or just lay on snow white sand beach... looking at crystal clear blue green water...

My family stayed here a few summers ago, and had a great time. It is a great location, and a pretty neat condo right on the beach. We liked it so much, we wanted to come back the next year. Since we were flexible as to date, and bookings were slow, we agreed to take a flexible advance booking. In March, we agreed that we would take the final week the owner had open the next summer, whenever it might be. In return, we got a discount on the condo. A good deal for both of us. Two weeks before we were scheduled to arrive, the owner e-mailed us and said we did not have a reservation. Obviously, rentals were better than anticipated, and the owner was able to rent the week out at full price. Since the owner stood us up at the last moment, we were unable to secure alternate accommodations and ended up canceling our summer vacation. The owner is not a man of his word, but we would still come back to this place. assuming you pay full price, and thus have no fears of the owner canceling your reservation, you will love the condo. just make sure you have everything in writing!
Owner response:Your payment w/contract is the only contract that is respected by law. I started to right a complete response/explanation given this inaccurate review. After writing three paragraph, I realized that this individual was not worth anymore of my time, and that my previous reviews speak for themselves. Our customers have always found us to be honest and fair, although I cannot say the same of our renters. We have successfully rented property for over 15 years, those years of experience have taught us that the prospective renters that push the hardest for a cheap rental, are the ones that steal the dvds, and towels...'nough said!

Very nicely stocked unit, older complex but the condo is very well maintained. We have been coming to South Walton and the 30A area for 20 years and this fit us perfectly. Our kids were both with friends for spring break so this one bedroom unit fit nicely for my wife and I. We always want to be beach front, this has a great west facing view for sunsets. The furniture and artwork are really nice. Bed was great, nice area that wasn't overrun with people. We don't like the high rises of Destin and PCB and the crowds, if you want to stay away from that but still be close to great food and fun, stay here. Bikes from Big Daddy's were great as was the condo owner to deal with. Thanks, we will return.

My husband, daughter and I have stayed here multiple times. Each visit is better than the last! We feel "at home" and enjoy every second. From the breath-taking views and beachfront access to the beautiful art and photography, you can't help but fall in love. We've already confirmed for the summer of 2011!

The condo was very comfortable and well stocked. The west facing views of sunsets were the best. The condo is right on the beach so no need to travel in the car anywhere else. The building itself is an older one and not everything is brand new or remodeleld. This did not bother us at all. The bathrooms needed some attention when we arrived. They were not as clean as could be. We would definitely stay here again. We have been spoiled by being 'on the beach.'

My husband, daughter and I spent a glorious week (July 2006) at this condo. Gorgeous! The views are breathtaking! Everything was perfect! The beds were soft and extremely comfortable. NO SCRATCHY SHEETS :) The kitchen was stocked with anything you need to cook a gourmet meal! We will definitely return. No need to look any further - this condo is IT!
