This fully-equipped, mountain cabin is located in Dollar Point on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. This mountain retreat is centrally located for great access to world-class ski resorts. In the summer enjoy the Private Association pool, beach, pier, and tennis courts. Also enjoy biking, kayaking, rafting down the Truckee River, and hiking on many local trails.
This home has a log cabin feeling with beautiful sunny windows and a peek view of the lake. Comfy couches, freestanding fireplace, piano, and cedar walls contribute to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen has just been remodeled with knotty alder cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The deck is brand new in 2008 with a nice teak dining table for six along with a Weber gas grill.
Private bedroom with a queen-size bed and study fully equipped for computer access is on the main floor; upstairs is large master bedroom with king-size bed, rocking chair, and views of the lake; also upstairs is kids paradise room with two twins, a bunkbed with double on bottom, small pool table, and toys. Linens and towels provided.

Why the Owner Chose Dollar Point
We have been traveling to Tahoe for many years. We love to snow ski, hike, raft, bike, and enjoy sailing on the lake. It is so exciting to head to the mountains when it is snowing to ski in fresh powder and retreat to a cozy cabin with a roaring fire. The restaurants are plentiful with lots of good music groups playing. In the summer the lake is absolutely beautiful with clear water. We love to sail to restaurants to have lunch or dinner or find a sandy beach to drop anchor. Rafting down the Truckee river is a great party, relaxing and thrilling at the same time. We always have a great time in Tahoe. Hiking to waterfalls, biking to River Ranch or Squaw, there is always lots to do!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Our homeowners association is great. They have mixer barbeques at the pool every Wednesday night! The tennis pro has drills and lessons and if you time it right, tournaments. There is a great big lawn by the pool to hang out, ping pong table, play structure for the kids and bocce ball court. We have a big sandy beach with large umbrellas provided, more tennis courts, a long pier, and volleyball court on the sand. There is a place for big beach party with a reservation. Dollar Point has easy access in the winter and we have plently of off street parking. It is located centrally to all the ski resorts. We improve our property every year and it keeps getting better and better. It is one house from Edgewood and they all have full lake views.

We are a hardworking and fun loving couple. We have been married for 25 wonderful years. We have two great kids! One is attending college in Colorado and one is in high school. We live in Northern California in what is referred to as the Napa/Sonoma wine country. We love to go wine tasting with our friends.

We had a great time at Dollar Point. The house was really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Location and facilities were also great. I would definitely rent here again. The owners were very nice also.

We were lucky to stumble across this house 3 years ago, and we have returned every year since...My husband and I and our 2 children LOVE this place - my kids call it our cabin in Tahoe :) The perfect proximity to the pool, activities for the kiddos, beautiful beach. The deck is our favorite place to come home to in the evening...so much room, so comfortable. We hope to come back for many years to come!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
