There are banking and shopping facilities nearby, and it is less than three miles to all the major shopping centers on Grand Avenue.

The Grand Canyon is a five-hour drive north, and the beautiful red rock scenery and artist's community of Sedona is two-and-one-half hours away. Historic Prescott is one-and-one-half hours north and Tucson and Tombstone, the wild west historic towns, are two to two-and-one-half hours southeast. Additionally, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Camelback Mountain, or Squaw Peak are short drives away. Many excursion tours to regional cities or events are available through the community association.
